Yes a very quiet day but maybe this is now the turning point with an increased base and increased sales with cross selling oppotunities on top! This should start looking better very soon.....

I notice someone sold 1.5m of these yesterday without moving the price, is it possible that this has been worked over the last few days?

Agree profit taking as the ED aquisition only bring good news and futher increased sales and profits! We are unfortunately at the mercy of the stock market and as butch9850 states some profit taking where people wish to move their profits into other quick wins. However this is only going to be going one way and that is heading towards the 3p mark sooner rather than later......

Profit- taking it can only be. Still up 140% in 6 mths. Ready to buy a million if this hits 1.2p again.

The impatient seem to be bailing out? There has been constant selling since the results, either that, or the market doesn't seem to like the ED aquisition??

...Indeed, don't forget some are sitting on very good gains from just 6 months ago so we expect a few sellers en route. But as we all know, the really big gains are yet to be had here!

I am confident enough if need be to just sit and wait I know this company is going to be big and profitable so the opportunity to make some serious money is in the medium to longer term. There will always be those who for whatever reason are not prepared to go the term and this is all we are seeing, wait to September and I am sure we will start to see a significant rise.....!

I said this stock would be trashed although the company has huge potential...must be totally due to the economic climate.........its just the way things are. I intend leaving the UK STOCK MARKET FOR GOOD ESPECIALLY companies listed on the AIM market.....I think I have had enough of it.

The directors intend to walk away with millions each, in around five years time, just what us shareholders want. Today should be noted, as, yet one more sign as to where this company is going. These boys are looking for growth ten times todays size, in under two years in my view. The broker has had to lift the profits twice in the last 6 months, and this is not a one off event, it will go on like this year in year out. Any book will tell you growth of 20% pa will make you rich fast, here we are looking at 30,50,100, 200, per cent growth PA in the next few years.

God find dyardley... "SpiriTel - BUY Companies: STP 05/08/2008 Business telecoms provider SpiriTel's market value has struggled to keep pace with the startling transformation of the company, which has just completed its sixth acquisition in two years. This is the handiwork of chief executive Alistair Mills, who was promoted to the post after previous management had dragged the company into insolvency. With two failing businesses now closed and most of the board replaced, the company has begun to focus on providing 'integrated business communications'. SpiriTel offers a combination of phone calls, phone lines, broadband, VoIP, WiFi, PBXs, cabling, mobile calls, mobile data and mobile internet. Its technology division supports this with its own IP network, as well as providing managed services and selling 'wholesale voice' to most of the UK's top ten telephone companies. In this highly fragmented sector there are many providers that sell a few of these products and services but much fewer that do them all, providing both competitive and acquisition opportunities aplenty for SpiriTel. Its recent £1.5m deal with Regent Inns was the largest hosted VoIP and WiFi contract ever in the UK and proves the attractions of SpiriTel's offering. Mills stresses that the chief purpose of any acquisitions is to provide substantial cross-selling opportunities, with the aim now to add other market verticals to existing strength in such as hospitality and legal. 'Acquisitions are profitable for us very quickly. We never keep the vendor and rarely keep any staff. We just bolt them on. ' SpriTel's results for the year to April, in which two acquisitions were made, showed revenues up 20% to £16.7m, gross profits tripling to £6.4m and £11m of debt to private equity backer Penta Capital restructured much more favourably for the company. However, the company's rating has lagged the group's swift transformation and with more growth to come, the shares are a buy. Oliver Haill Market cap: £10.52m PE Forecast: 6.6 Share price: 1.9p" http://www.growthcompany.co.uk/recommendations/458551/spiritel.thtml

You need to stop watching the price so much. If you have a lot invested here and it is making you nervous, perhaps sell some on the next run up and spread your investments a little. The MMs are only making a market, they do not care what is going on with each individual share and are making a living the same as the rest of us. There may be trades going on the background that you or I are not aware of. I know it makes it hard to trade sometimes, especially on small shares like this, but I have faith in STP to deliver. This is a long-term hold for me, meaning years rather than months or days. If you believe in the company, sit back and wait, our day will come.
