12/8/2008 09:31 | Until we get some news or large volume buys the market makers I think will keep the share price on hold.........NO real reason to drop the share price as all past news has been excellent Spiritel is going places as small company it has a lot of GROWTH POTENTIAL and this drives the share price as long as the market makers don't mess it all up due to greed, they are of course out to get every penny they can in this terrible economic climate but Spiritel know how to survive they have a first class management team and cannot be bettered anywhere. That is our safety net. But do your own research as always. | sagem

10/8/2008 09:13 | Investors are looking for good quality GROWTH companies to invest in and SPIRITEL is about the best company out their, they know how to handle the economic mess and are planning for HUGE growth/PROFITS. The time could not be better to buy. But do your own research and be very surprised. | sagem
08/8/2008 14:05 | you wont get this much cheaper !!! excellent company onward north | martin3056
07/8/2008 12:30 | They will buy but there is no rush at the moment, most will just watch the price for a while, and as always, buy on the dips. They could miss out I know but the chances are this will drop slightly before moving back up again. | donnatella
07/8/2008 12:23 | 2p is a big psychological barrier, perhaps it won't be broken as quickly we would have liked. A write up in a small shares mag would help. | butch9850
07/8/2008 11:57 | So where are all the buys for all this good news/profits. Why is nobody buying, for once we have a good quality company doing extremely well in this terrible economic climate so I would have thought investors would be jumping at the idea of buying. | sagem
06/8/2008 14:42 | That will be excellent news that should give a further step up | martin44
06/8/2008 14:05 | Which should include a very bullish progress report.. | dyardley
06/8/2008 14:03 | If they get the report and accounts out as same speed as last year, we should have the AGM in around 8 weeks from today. | tara7
06/8/2008 13:57 | Yep this has to be a long term hold to maximumise the opportunity this represents..... | martin44
06/8/2008 12:26 | I also agree with the previous posts - I've got a nice holding in STP and will be sitting on them for the next 12 months while the company gets on with what it appears to be good at. I've also got into a Chinese telecom - CECU - and they are increasing their market share in China, along with hopefully increased sales during the Olympics. Slight bounce this morning. | doomsday investments
06/8/2008 09:22 | I agree with you someuwin this will be done to make the best out of every forthcoming situation and each future acquisition, there will be no mistakes I am quite sure of that but a good steady growth. | martin44
06/8/2008 09:04 | We've had a very good run up to results and acquisition, so we may need a bit of consolidation at this level before it starts moving up again. But I doubt it will be long before we get more good news. The secret (as with most shares) is to bide your time - this will go a lot higher in the medium term. | someuwin
06/8/2008 08:45 | Where are all the buys today especially with all that good news and future prospects....perhaps the news has not got out and still under the radar. ANY VIEWS WHY................. | sagem
06/8/2008 07:53 | The stockmarket report for 5th August 2008 from UK-AnaIyst.com Small Caps, AIM and PLUS Business communications provider Spiritel (STP) announced the acquisition of ED communications. The company has agreed to pay 0.8 million pounds cash for ED on completion of the deal, with a maximum consideration of £3.0 million. "Following a sustained period of organic and acquisition-enhanced growth, SpiriTel has now attained a level of scale that allows us to bolt on acquired companies and swiftly deliver the resulting synergy benefits of cost savings and new sales opportunities. SpiriTel has an excellent track record in effective acquisition integration and we are confident that ED will prove a highly profitable addition to our Business Division," commented Alastair Mills, Chief Executive of SpiriTel. He added that, "in a rapidly consolidating sector, we will continue to pursue this strategy of making selective, earnings enhancing acquisitions that add scale to our operations, expand our customer base and furnish us with the opportunity of organic growth driven by cross selling." Shares in SpiriTel advanced 0.025p to 1.925p. | someuwin
05/8/2008 17:08 | Spiritel is in the equity investment instruments sector and is currently trading at 1.85p per share. In the last year Spiritel's share price has ranged from 0.60p to 2.00p and brokers are currently rating this stock as 'strong buy'. | boilerboy
05/8/2008 13:02 | So tara you're assuming profits of around £2.5m for year to April '09 inc. new aquisition ED? I agree this is quite possible and this would produce earnings of around 0.45p nil tax. PER of 15 equals a share price of 6.75p!!! This should rise quite sustantially over the next 9 months!!!!! | dyardley
05/8/2008 10:37 | Well done, we have a pre ED target price of 2.6p from the broker which is now old. If we do our own sums based on 9 months from ED, we get a target price of around 3p with a PE of 6.6. In my view by the time those results are out in a years time, the PE will have jumped to 13. To sum up that gives us a share price of 6p this time next year,However, have an idea that all the brokers forecasts will be smashed on the upside. | tara7
05/8/2008 10:13 | so does the broker note get published/displayed on the news channels with the markets? | wwc
05/8/2008 09:42 | someuwin - thanks for the broker note | martin44
05/8/2008 09:39 | Initial Daniel Stewart note - I expect more detailed research to follow at a later date. Spiritel - BUY - 05/08/2008 Price: 1.90p Target price: 2.60p Code: STP.L Acquisition No.6: ED Communications * SpiriTel has announced its sixth successive acquisition, ED Communications, a network services reseller, for a total consideration of £3.0m. The acquisition is funded through SpiriTel's debt facility with Clydesdale Bank and will comprise £0.8m in cash, £0.5m of deferred payments over a two-year period and £1.7m in performance-related earnout payments up to September 2009. The acquisition is expected to be immediately earnings-accretive. * ED Communications recorded Dec '7 revenues of £2.1m, EBITDA at £0.29m, with tax losses of £5.0m. It has some 700 corporate clients and provides inbound and outbound call facilities, non-geographic numbers, wholesale line rental and broadband services. SpiriTel sees a particular opportunity to cross-sell services ~ mobile voice and data, networking, hosted VoIP and WiFi ~ through the integration of ED within its Business Communications division. * SpiriTel is beginning to display the advantages of increased scale, enabling more rapid acquisition and integration, and all-important cross-selling. FY07 results matched our outlook with EBITDA moving from a £0.64m loss to £0.9m profitability. Our pre-ED outlook places SpiriTel on an April 2009 PE of 6.6x. With the spread of IP-based services the telecom sector should offer ample opportunities for SpiriTel to continue its formula of earnings-enhancing acquisition and cross-selling. | someuwin |
