16/11/2011 17:26 | RRR plummeting. Time for SVE to put their money where their mouth is and get buying. | on target
16/11/2011 17:17 | ORCP holding now worth a touch under £2m unless they have been selling them off. | zedder
16/11/2011 10:02 | As previously announced, the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 6 December 2011 will be asked to recommend payment of a dividend amounting to 0.75 pence per share of which 0.25 pence per share was paid on 15 June 2011 (2010: NIL). The shares will be marked ex - dividend on 4 January 2012 and the record date will be 6 January 2012. The payment date will be 20 January 2012. | p@
27/10/2011 09:11 | Good time to be sitting on a chunky piece of cash - £1.8million. I see they have topped up on some Beowulf as well. I imagine a lot of the £1.8m will go into more liquid mid tier trading stocks where returns can multiply quicker and easier to trade in. Jubilee platinum would be a good one in my view for them. Half the mkt cap now in cash. | maxbubble
24/10/2011 20:59 | Tricia, the link you refer to states that they no longer had a notifiable interest ie | thedaidai
24/10/2011 18:23 | looks like they were sold near the recent bottom, following the BEM link above.Pity | tricia51
24/10/2011 08:28 | beowulf doing nicely again - wonder will Bruce sell and take some profits. No value seems to be put on it by the market so far - strange..i thought it was always meant to be tracking the investments....LOL | maxbubble
10/10/2011 13:51 | This valuation is barking mad. In fact beyond Barking..arguably Dagenham or even Upminster. | shavian
05/10/2011 17:07 | wgat a dog | dugganjoe
14/9/2011 22:05 | Always interesting, made a packet here in the past | sir rational
14/9/2011 21:56 | If so that's now a 42.5% discount. | lr2
14/9/2011 21:41 | Portfolio NAV 20.9p from my spreadsheet. | zedder
14/9/2011 21:21 | 41% discount to NAV with holdings in bombed out sectors plus Bruce Rowan's reputation pulled me in. | lr2
14/9/2011 21:10 | I'm loitering in the wings too...Been watching this one all year & now at my closest to dipping my toe in here. Tempted v.tempted! | carpe diem007
14/9/2011 17:49 | Yep I'm here with 53500 shares. | zedder
14/9/2011 17:42 | Here. Bought a short time ago. | lr2
14/9/2011 17:22 | This is so far below the radar and has probably flown though a tree! Anyone here, by the way? | shavian
24/8/2011 07:40 | If SVE tendered for 10m shares at 16.5p, plus cancelled the 2.3m shares they hold in treasury, the price could rise to 18p and the Mkt Cap would be the same as now. Sounds like a great plan and you heard it here first! | zedder
24/8/2011 07:27 | TIR have announced a Tender Offer today to buy and cancel just under 30% of their shares. With over £2m of cash, hopefully we are next! Background to and reasons for the Tender Offer The Board is conscious that the market price of the Shares has long remained at a discount to the Gross NAV per Share, despite the success of many of the Company's investments. Consequently, the Board has decided to give Qualifying Shareholders the opportunity to have some of their investment returned in cash by way of a tender process. The Board believes that this will bring to the attention of the wider market the disparity between the market price of the Shares and the Company's underlying asset value. | zedder
23/8/2011 10:40 | AAU still heading higher. Core holding plus profits from exercised warrants worth £1.3m. | zedder
19/8/2011 15:26 | Someone had to pay a premium (@14.25p) for 100k of shares. I'd been thinking the discount to NAV was getting pretty large (certainly on my spreadsheet) so I'm not surprised. | zedder
16/8/2011 21:30 | Looks like they really like RRR, believing it to be seriously undervalued. Wonder if any of the Sheba proceeds will be finding their way there? | on target
16/8/2011 17:18 | Rowan seems to be making a pitch for a serious revaluation of the shares after recent events amongst the holdings. The cash input might warrant a special divi? | dennis russell |
