During that time I had the privilege of being a member of UK Committee of Cargo Underwriters for 17 years, the Chairman for 2 years, and a member of the World Cargo Committee for 4 years. Steeplesimon @Steeplesimon · 11m A Cargo Underwriter’s remit is to receive more in premiums than they pay out in claims (plus the expenses of running a business). Steeplesimon @Steeplesimon · 11m Claims can be reduced by working with a client using loss prevention, which can either reduce claims, or if the claim is not the fault of the client, to pin point who was in control of the cargo at the time, and ensure their insurers pay and not our client. Steeplesimon @Steeplesimon · 11m All clients have an excess on their insurance policy, and usually also a % of the profits of the insurance policy are returned to them. Use of #STAR products can reduce claims, directly saving the client money and increasing the possibility of a return of some of the premiums. Namely CropX, Cubemonk and Zero.

10:50		nig1954: I suspect it's a combination of factors. Last night's late buying has continued into this morning and judging by the size and frequency of the buys it's either a HNW individual or possibly an II seeking to establish a position. Apparently STAR were very well received at last weeks round of Fund Meetings and they even had to throw in additional sessions on Wednesday. That suggests that II's are now beginning to sit up and take notice. Also, the company is allegedly close to landing several orders with various different global partners.These will be material orders and when they arrive and are RNS'd by the company, i rather suspect it will be transformational for the share price

10:08		riddlerone: Nothing new in results but pleased they got them out early and they look pretty good.Pleased to see this paragraph but would still like to see equity investment at the right price from one of our partners "The Group has accumulated operating losses over the past few years and is dependent on securing financing or infusion of capital. The Group is convinced that sufficient loan facilities are available to cover its cash flow requirements."

18:57		riddlerone: Would not be surprised to see further Lokies contract news either before or with the results in a month from now.The Russian volume order opens the door to get the production costs down and be able to offer the product at a competitive price.This was highlighted as an aim at the AGM. Disappointed to say the least at the market reaction to the Update but not here to trade this.As with Pilat Media I think the BOD's end game is to sell the business once its large enough to command a decent price
