All the soldiers seem to be lining up nicely jasdan, so the base seems to have been nicely established ready for the next move.

Chaps can we try and keep it civil on here - we’re all grown adults after all.

More basically can we keep it about SG and stamp / coin collecting?

Watch out Jasdan, someone that has spent a few years with you on this thread seems to like towering phallus’s - unless you’re into the same thing watch your back.

I think the 12 million at 3.20 were just broker swapsies and the 3.16s were buys .
Did you buy those De La Rues ?

Looks to me like it is now going to be difficult to buy a meaningful amount of shares at 3.3p as this price only seems available on purchases up to 50,000 shares and it’s around 3.5p to buy larger amounts.

That 12.37m purchase really soaked up spare capacity and I think the shares are now primed for a decent rise

A few more folks nibbling away today I notice. Slowly and steadfastly forming a solid base @3 -3.3

Proper talk .
Go onto Stanley's GB discount list .
There is a 1st De La Rue there. It has been reduced from 600 to 500. I have two sets of that already otherwise I would have it . I like two of everything at my cheaper end. Part of my OCD. There are some with other dealers slightly cheaper but as you know this one will be faultless. I am not saying they will go up in value but I put my life on it you will not loose over time .
There you go don't say I don't help you out 👍

Nevertheless someone’s definitely bought over 12m shares yesterday as those were purchases not sales. Who was it?

I agree you will hear soon.
Let's have a wager
You have your bitcoin/ company tie up theory.
I will have the need for cash to continue theory. I will add it will involve dilution to present holders.
When we go on our date to Stampex ,I will buy the Latte, the loser buys the cake .
Shouldn't cost you more than a tenner even in London.

For us ordinary mortals, if you wanted to buy say 20000 shares the price would be 3.3p or very close to it.

Still it is never bad news to have big supporters of any company, hopefully we will all learn more in the next few days

You’ll find these are negotiated trades taken off a dealer who felt that they were holding surplus shares.

The more interesting thing is they equate exactly to 3% of the total shares meaning if they are the same buyer, and this is likely, they MUST disclose their position. I believe they have 48 hours in which to make the disclosure.

Jasdan, The Prig rises to every occasion you twitch the nob, hence belief of the moral high ground, so at least you have had company since 2017, I think that's what was said by the Pillack in a former post, but clearly it enjoys your company and your imaginative mind, not to mention the attention you bestow on the humble Pratt.

Good Luck your day may soon have come.

You're talking drivel again Superior. There's no need for a share issue, they are well supported by Phoenix, and are probably trading evenly at the moment - i.e. they have not used up any more of their facility with Phoenix since last reporting.

The shares were purchased in three main tranches, assuming none of yesterday or the previous days buys are included. The last one was only declared around the same time as the market closes, which is interesting. Perhaps they want to hide their identity for as long as possible?

Could be a big auction house or other big international dealing house? It may even be someone like Scotts, Michel, or Ceres as combining any of these with SG would be a powerful force in philately.

Lastly, it could be bitcoin operator taking a stake as a prelude to investing in tranches of coins and stamps? These outfits are looking for alternative investments and today's bitcoin tree shake could have forced their hand.

Certainly an interesting development. Perhaps one day we will also see one of the Directors taking a stake - it has been a long time since any did, and we are about to start up again....
