I don't think the current coronavirus will have much effect on SG. Very little of their sales are from China. Indeed they very rarely hold Chinese related auctions. Currently, collectors are buying up old GB, and Indian States / old India. That is equally where their auctions are at.
I would have thought that as a lot of their sales are probably via the internet then how can this be affected by this bug? If anything, collectors will buy more if they are forced to stay at home at twiddle their fingers!

Superior, why do you bother posting? When the price was 5p you refused to buy as you thought it was going to drop to 3p. When it was 2.25p you told us it was going to drop to 1p and no-one should buy. When it rose to 4p recently you got annoyed. Now it's at 3.25p you again 'predict' 1p.

What's the point? You clearly won't and don't buy shares in this stock so why bother posting silly messages? It seems nothing the company says is good enough for you? Why?

Maybe if the Chinese stay indoors, they'll need a better hobby than eating bats and other weird stuff, and stamps might be one of those "boring but won't kill you" things :-) apparently "luxury" brands have been hit hard already and are now a buying opportunity. Apparently.

How do you come by that valuation?

I am sticking to my opinion that SGI is worth no more than 5 million at present. This would give it a share price of about a penny. However as an illiquid struggling small cap. the ballooning virus problem, could send the share price fractional very quickly !

We have to wait until the FY results come out in May before we get confirmation that they had a great Xmas.

I believe SG had a good Xmas so it’s a shame that they cannot issue a trading update confirming this. We have to wa

Quite right. The selling of shares in SGI should be prohibited by law.

Looks like the stock is being manipulated this afternoon. Loads of small sales to push the price down. I hope someone comes along and scoops up a block at a good price. This sort of manipulation should be barred.

Did anyone go to last night’s event at the Strand Palace Hotel?

Range of sells over yesterday and today but no change to the price - there must be a large buy going through with no doubt a late advice notice to be issued after it goes public.
Clearly few sellers at this level

Hopefully Baldwins will do well. It’s good that SG is not just about stamp collecting

When's this going to go over 4p?

Perhaps Superior is going to buy some at last?

Jasdan... haha I work for Morrisons stacking shelves. Remember you even called me an idiot because according to you Morrisons share price has never been lower than £ 1.70 odd. I would work for SGI tomorrow morning if I could but I don't have enough Philatelic experience. Jasdan a couple of sellers appeared today, make sure you buy the equivalent in the morning to keep your story going :-)

Some folk get far too emotionally involved with a company, they need to remember that "The company" doesn't really give a toss about share holders, they're a means to an end.

Nor do hedge funds and other institutional holders, basically PIs are out on a limb, if we make anything it's on the back of moves made by the afore mentioned large holders.

SGI is a punt, no more no less, pays your money takes your chance, I'm sure there are other platitudinous sayings but who cares, just do your own research, play it as you see fit & sod the naysayers!
