Picked up a few last week at <12p.
Methinks problem solving at SGI is working out.....

The price action and volume here in recent wks speaks of accumulation to us. Generally a precursor of good news in my experience.Resistance at 12p looks ripe for taking out

I am still of the same opinion as this time last year.

Will S Gibbons go bust.....?......My view is no.

We shall see

The BoD seem to be taking the right steps to try and recover...

The recovery potential of this share is growing. The new management keep on doing the right things. I remain a holder for the recovery. Recent share price movement also shows news leaks out of small companies.

a two page write up in Master Investor May edition tweaked my interest enough to go on my watch list.

Previously, in 2014 & 2015 results were announced 27th June and 26th June, respectively.. so don't think it's an expectation of results due...

+ 14.67%, as I type. Now 11p at the lowest ask on show.

Do we have a chart breakout? Have we turned the corner?

not me... I thought the TU showed the bod were trying to resolve past issues - and there are so many to resolve...
still a long way to go but not without hope, yet...

I packed in yesterday, took a small loss but that last update was so obscure, even for a AIM company, that I simply don't trust this Company's Directors!

Probably another fund raise coming up. Debt way too high

The new management seem to be trying hard to untangle the mess the previous management left behind...
Sales are still subdued but cost cutting is going well...

They seem to be turning the business around... The question is whether they can and service the debt...

There's still a demand for rare collectibles...

I wanted to buy some shares in these a few months ago after the stamp scandal broke but when I looked at the accounts they were unintelligible. What SGI do is bundle the divisions into different headings like interiors or internet and it is impossible to follow the workings of each group. It's hard to avoid the conclusion this is deliberate.

Regarding the Mallett stock it may be worth very little. Older antiques can be very heavily restored and at times it is not that clear what is new and what is original. There is the old adage of 'there are a thousand old refectory tables and three thousand of them are in America'. I just remember a similar old established business in London David Mellor lost money in and it all ended up in court and the restoration exposed.

There is so much debt and claims I'm amazed the shares have any value atall and it could just represent hope value. I am sure Baldwins is a good business but it's not clear that shareholders will benefit as the banks could get there first sadly.

Normally Management Tone means something. I am not sure that it means anything with this lot, looking at recent history

Tried to buy a decent lump at 6.5 and could only get 10k. Market's short of em. My guess they close up on the day.
There is nothing to worry about in the statement from what I can see and the management tone is v positive.
