20/7/2016 10:50 | Good to see an outbreak of old-fashioned English understatement and modesty. Well done, Moneybags and gbh2. I've been buying post the update, as it seemed to me there was considerable potential upside, once the kithcen-sinking is over. | cjohn
20/7/2016 10:39 | My first share was Pace Micro 39p, two years later it allowed me to retire, been trying to repeat the exercise ever since :)) | gbh2
20/7/2016 10:32 | Hell gbh2, I had my first share in 1962 (Lonhro with Tiny Rowland)cost 50p a share(listing price), by the 70's it was paying 50p divi each 6 months.Just sold around 3 years ago as takeover happened. 19 years............... 20/7/2016 10:26 | I mentioned it for no other reason than to add to the banter I'd been posting since buying into SGI. fwiw - I have two types of investment interest, one is capital gain and a more recent one is dividend income. I've chased capital gain for 19 years & always had 30% gain as my, not to be ignored selling point, clearly if the share price is rising I'll watch it go beyond, which SGI did when it hit 15p but when the drop back to 14.5p left me with 32% it was good enough. The cash went into STAF, which (IF I'm right) has both capital gain & dividend potential, time will tell. SGI remains on my watch list l genuinely hope the company does well. | gbh2
20/7/2016 10:11 | with SGI, trades later today should hopefully provide more clues... higher vol or not... | sikhthetech
20/7/2016 10:10 | Yeah. Buy low. Miraculously. Sell higher. Miraculously. Oh, what a wonderful world. And yet-- and yet -- still won't pay that little amount to be a bluey. Yeah yeah yeah... | 2magpies
20/7/2016 10:10 | I've come across gbh2 on 2 of my other shares.. he's been consistent with his views, so I've no reason not to believe what he's saying... | sikhthetech
20/7/2016 10:07 | Well done gbh2 but will your 30% be 30% if you buy back in or will it become 0% or 60%+ ? That`s trading! | clocktower
20/7/2016 09:55 | I suspect we will go better later today, whatever was brewing yesterday and before was more than a flash in the proverbial.....the volume tells you something. My thoughts only I should add. | waldof
20/7/2016 09:45 | gbh2 is one of thee 'old school' on this site,(in the year of our lord 2016) and if he said he sold, then he sold. You soon find out on this site who to ignore. Regards , MoneyYuoOweMeATenner | moneybags
