10/1/2014 07:44 | A can anyone help explain / justify why these trade at such a large premium to NAV | warrensearle
09/1/2014 19:31 | A very pleasant and unexpected bonus today. That is indeed a big move in one day for these. | lord gnome
09/1/2014 14:30 | Yes, these things should be far too boring than to move by over 2% in a session! | jonwig
09/1/2014 14:23 | Up 1.5p almost fell off my chair in excitement. Perhaps we will see an appreciation in commercial property this year - other than retail of course. | dr biotech
16/9/2013 15:05 | Investors Chronicle last friday tipped TRY & SLI property Investments bought into both commercial property prices in general should strengthen sentiment is depressed outside London prices remain 40% below their 2007 peak | tiger20
16/9/2013 14:22 | SLI in demand today. Certainly looking perky. High yielding property trusts have been the place to be just lately. | lord gnome
14/6/2013 09:54 | Let me know what you are buying next time, please. Preferably before you start to buy in ;-) | lord gnome
14/6/2013 09:12 | Sorry, probably my fault. Whenever I decide that I want to start building a position in something, this always happens :o( Has a seller finished? | speedsgh
14/6/2013 09:06 | Looking perky today. | lord gnome
31/5/2013 11:13 | Another good point, for those aware of the attractions for ISA income, is that divs. are paid gross. | asmodeus
31/5/2013 10:28 | I'm in as of this morning. Missed the bottom by prevaricating, as usual. | lord gnome
23/5/2013 14:03 | Another good point about this trust is that its covenants require that they may only invest a fixed % of the fund in any one holding. This limits risk.Quite a bit outside London & SE which will take longer to pick up -but this fund is very cheap for the long term. | 4spiel
16/5/2013 08:40 | Cheers jonwig. I was attracted by an article in Shares Mag. 'The only offshore property investment trust to pay a dividend covered by recurring earnings in 2012.' 'progressive dividend going forward' 'reducing cost of debt' 'cover of 1.27 times by 2014'. It makes an attractive story, but I really like the high yield and the quarterly payout. | lord gnome
15/5/2013 18:07 | The fall in NAV of nearly 4p (announced 03/05) may have been more than the market expected, so the premium might be unwinding - if so, nearly there! I get the impression that secondary property values (especially outside London) have still a few percent to fall which won't have helped. Unless the next accounts tell us otherwise (say by increased voids) the dividend should be covered to within a few points. | jonwig
15/5/2013 15:16 | No posts on here for almost six months. Any thoughts on the continuing drip down in the share price or has everyone baled out? | lord gnome
30/11/2012 15:11 | RNS Number : 3624S Standard Life Invs Property Inc Tst 30 November 2012 Standard Life Investment Property Income Trust Limited ("the Issuer") The Directors of the Issuer wish to announce that application has been made to delist from the Official List of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, LBG. | skinny
12/10/2012 16:48 | 4spiel - I'd be careful about using eps with propcos, as change in property valuation and mark-to-market swaps, etc. are part of the income statement and have nothing to do with dividend paying ability. Net rental income less interest is easier to look through. | jonwig
12/10/2012 16:20 | Thanks jonwig. On the LSE they show Earnings per share as 3.35 per share and dividend at 4.47. Maybe this is misleading do you think ? | 4spiel
12/10/2012 16:05 | 61.4p at 30 June ... it's in the headlines of the H1 results. LTV is fairly low at 45% and dividend is just about covered. So not many negative issues here. | jonwig
12/10/2012 15:24 | Not easy to find Net Asset Values for this. I suspect the price of this stock ought to be nearer 52p than 62p -its just that yield hungry people are buying for yield anmd maybe not checking what its really worth ? | 4spiel
31/8/2012 08:05 | I think from memory there was a saving of about £1.7m involved at the time. Unfortunately, I don't hold a great deal of either. | skinny
31/8/2012 07:51 | Yes, a revealing chart. I hold SREI as well. I guess the re-rating there was following transfer of management to Schroders? | jonwig
31/8/2012 07:42 | Yes - as you say a bit academic now. Look at SREI in comparison since - maybe the table will be 'dropped' at the next report. | skinny
31/8/2012 07:24 | I see they produce a comparative table of performance against other PTs. A bit cheeky - would they do it if they weren't top dog? These things have a habit of being quietly dropped when conditions don't suit. That said, I'm a holder and quite satisfied. | jonwig
31/8/2012 07:05 | Financial Highlights - New seven year £84.4m loan facility, maturing 16 December 2018, drawn down in January 2012 on attractive terms. - Dividend of 2.266p paid in respect of the six months to 30 June 2012 - Dividend yield of 7.2% based on 30 June 2012 share price of 63.25p - Total return of 3.0% (excluding cash) for six months to 30 June 2012, compared to IPD benchmark return of 0.9%*. - Two properties purchased during the period for £12.4m *Source: quarterly version of IPD monthly index funds. | skinny |
