It's in her blood. Nicola, sorry Boadicea, led the uprising for the Celts way back when, but ironically, that was against the Europeans (Romans) rather than the neighbors.

I don't think AAM is going to be beneficial for SL.

The Market reacted positively to the merger originally. The spanner in the works is the SNP and Greens revisiting independence. Looking at the fundamentals both companies look cheap, whether that is still cheap in a 20 billion structural deficit tiny country with all its public sector support for UK plc stripped away further increasing that deficit ( defence, DSS, National Savings etc ) is another question. Relocation south would have its own problems and also upset Scottish customers.

Still holding in hope anyway. If only Nicola Sturgeon would keep it zipped.

Agreed but there's nothing to be done about it. The vote will go massively FOR the proposal to merge, (the ii's have it)!

It's what is expected. The market does not see the Merger with Aberdeen as very positive. In my opinion Standard Life is better off on its own.

Agree with the idea that SL should move south of the border.

Then drop the needless reference to scotland ( and all that infers) and bobs your uncle.
