08/4/2021 10:26 | Back over £5. Really needs to be a decisive move towards £6, otherwise all white noise. Was pleased to see these as a major holding at Temple Bar. I see they're in good company, if you believe as they do, that the rotation is now to value. RMG has of course, already moved considerably. But beyond that, there may also be a rotation to banks. I see they prefer Natwest by a smidgeon. 06/4/2021 21:24 | Remember when STAN was around £17 in 2008, and folks were talking about a Chinese bid at about £20? Later in 2013 it dropped like a stone after the Yanks discovered that STAN had broken US oil sanctions and they were duly fined $ millions. It has never really recovered since then. Did any corporate heads roll for that stupidity? | keyhole

05/3/2021 11:17 | Break is so nearly on. And in the meantime they just continue to buy back shares. Once 5 goes, I see 6, then 7. As far as I can see, this has the advantages of Far Eastern growth, plus a macro wind behind banks. With a useful dividend to be getting on with. But I'd love to hear the bear case. | brucie5
