As I’ve said before ,,, cash is king ,,, and the money was needed before the next instalment ,,, it’s a winner @ 50p for the cash kings

Ellis clipped his wings loool. Most of you openly said get the placing done on here, you gave them the indication you wanted it and no you're crying because it's 55p! Blame yourselves. As for your 50p O.O, absolutely pointless, the placing should've been 65p but hey ho. 20 years I've been in this game and I don't recall a single company that actually care about private investors. Suck it up, 50p soon

A number of Placings recently by other companies have been only slightly discounted. The fact the Staffline one was at such a significant discount to the prevailing price at the time of announcement is a clear reflection of the extent of the financing issues the company has. But we are where we are for now. The only near term question is whether to take up our entitlements.

On Kier for example the price went up from 95p to 120p on the Placing announcement which was at 85p. So after the record date you could sell at around 115p, buy them back at 85p with more if you wanted.

Both have serious debt issues but on the face of it Kier's situation has a better outcome for investors.

Of course no ones really mentioned HR Net

Did they participate?

If not will then they now hold 15% of the company ! And some new IIs maybe matching them which on one hand gives a better balance but on the other hand rules out a bid.

They didn’t want it when it needed a cash injection and why would they? It would have taken up their resources . Now though it also costs twice as much to buy!

John, at 55p there is no compelling reason to take up the offer. So I agree we need some news to make it worthwhile.

I think it would have been mentioned on Friday along with the news of Gresham and Henry Spain. So looks like they didn't participate

Wonder if Hairnet took any in the placing to keep it's 29% odd intact. Suppose we will get a flurry of holdings RNS soon enough.
