Impressive share price gains of late. Just wondering if high employment numbers and reported shortage of workers plays into STAF's hands. What else might be driving the recovery in the SP?

Earnings per share of 200p target for 2022

Could get to £27-35 pounds if they do it

I'm not a holder, though was in the past, and STAF has been on my watchlist for several years.

This morning's news that the government is ending privatised probation service contracts early will presumably have an effect on STAF since their subsidiary EOS won a 10-year contract in late 2014 for this service - I don't know offhand if there were any additional probation wins as well as this one:

The market has had this wrong for a long time and the company has done nothing wrong so I've bought several times. The market has been sceptical and maybe now the price will at least recover to where it was last year.

Guess the ticker code game!

OK I am going to go for HVN

Am I right?

Incidentally I hold HVN (have done for a while). In order to buy STAF I had to think twice because of the exposure to the sector was doubled but I am very happy to hold stock in both companys for the foseeable..

I think the market has this one wrong.

There is too much negativity in the price regarding sentiment. The numbers and the positivity in the TS indicate that the earning targets are well within grasp.

In fairness 3 of 4 brokers indicate a buy but the momentum of a falling share price has been hard to overlook.

FWIW I have bought in here (both sides of the TS). Too much of a bargain for no good reason IMO.

We may not quite have bust the billion that was the target of Andy Hogarth but we were close enough and now I look forward to the next five years:

"Our new plan, the fourth since we became a listed company, is during the next five years to grow underlying diluted Earnings Per Share to 200p, a 77% increase on the 112.6p reported this year. To achieve this target, we will continue to achieve strong organic growth. In addition, we will continue to seek further acquisitions in either current or complimentary new sectors."

Pullen knows the business and finances of the company so should be a capable successor to Hogarth. So let's look forward to eps growth to 200p and put it on a modest PE of 10 for £20 share price with dividends increasing to 45-50p.

Maybe not explosive growth but will do for this long-term holder.

Maybe someone has realised that FCF of £37.9m is quite a lot when the mkt cap is only £275m! At that rate it won't take long to repay net debt of £16.5m.

They will either find something decent to buy or bump up the dividend.
