10/8/2018 11:24 | Average cost of debt last year (30/09/2017) was about 1.6% (All Sterling) excluding the Revolving Loan which was undrawn. Interest cover stood at 12x. So its not the long term debt they'll be repaying its more likely that they are raising debt to payout Trade and other payables which stood at £428m at the last half-year. Since interest rates are rising better get in there I guess before they go further and get the current liabilities sorted out! | sogoesit
10/8/2018 07:18 | - Airport and train-station convenience store chain SSP Group launched a $175m US bond offer to pay down existing debt. The private placement notes would be issued in October in five series maturing between 2025 and 2028. Proceeds would be largely used for the repayment of existing indebtedness, with any remainder being used for general corporate purposes, SSP said. The issue would also allow the company to diversify its sources of debt financing and extend its debt maturity profile out to 2030. The five series include $40m at 4.35%, maturing in October 2025; $40m at 4.50%, maturing in October 2028, $40m at 4.60%, maturing in October 2030, £21m at 2.85% maturing in October 2025 and £21m at 3.06% maturing in October 2028. | broadwood

03/8/2018 21:22 | Thanks S :-) "NS Awards Starbucks Contract to SSP Group Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) has awarded SSP Group the contract to take over operations of 29 Starbucks stores operated in licensed partnership, following a competitive tender. As part of its new strategy, NS will cease to directly operate some F&B and retail units at its railway stations and will be handing over operations of its Starbucks stores early January 2019, with all current colleagues transferring to SSP. Kate Swann, SSP Group CEO, commented, “We’re delighted to have been selected by NS, as this award recognises our successful track record of running Starbucks stores in travel locations in the UK and Continental Europe. We look forward to further growing our operations in the Netherlands and welcoming NS colleagues into our team.” | philanderer
31/7/2018 00:16 | Labor Battle Looms at Airport Service and hospitality workers for SSP America demand union vote, may call for picketing or a strike. A battle between labor and management is brewing at the General Mitchell International Airport. Workers for SSP America, a food service concessionaire that operates in airports around the country, are attempting to organize a union at the Milwaukee airport so they may negotiate collectively for a fair wage agreement like the one implemented for the new Milwaukee Bucks arena, plus union rights and a union hiring hall. (SSP America, a division of SSP Group, operates in airports throughout the continental United States and Canada) | philanderer
