Shavian, hi.

I just ticked the News Feed box but it says no news for SSL in the last month. This is because ADVFN thinks SSL is another company (SSL International) as per my warning at the top. I've obviously unticked the box again as it is misleading.

What I have done though is add a link in the header to the Sandstorm website News page. Best I can do I'm afraid!

Excellent update out yesterday. The streams and royalties are beginning to gather pace, with 20 of them now contributing, just 150 to go! My only disappointment was the absence of news from Hot Maden, where drilling is continuing in the Southern and old Russion zones. SSL is definitely one to lock away and forget for a few years. I'm accumulating some for my kids' pensions!

Rrr: if you are still around could you please put a link in the header to the news feed? There should be a few interviews with Nolan out shortly.

Gold on a role, Cu is up about 40 percent this year!
SSL reflecting the gains. Hot maden will not be producing anything for quite some time so is not contributing to the share price yet. The continuing rise in the pog will hopefully see the share price climb over the near term with the hot madem plum adding next year. Gla holders

seems SSL may have sold their holding in Mason to Hudson,see Hogger on CEO (wouldnt paste) if so cash will be used for further streaming of more share buyback

Hi rrr - asked chip and it turns out he does include TSX and other stocks but the discussion still seems to be mainly AIM. That's the main reason I stopped following the thread some time ago. The other thing is it isn't actually 'discussion' but more one person after another asking him what he thinks of this or that stock. Chip is very generous giving his considered opinion but - to be honest - I prefer the fewer posters, more sedate pace, exchange and sharing of information and focus of this thread. I would rather not be following long chat boards every day if I can help it. I happened to wonder if anybody in our small group was also following those other Toronto stocks but it's clear nobody is so I'll leave it there and stick to Sandstorm.

Please excuse the off topic post but this seems to be the only UK board where people are taking a curious and broader interest in Canadian stocks and don't seem to feel a little threatened by casting a bit wider from the UK equivalents. Is anybody following Cornerstone (CGP:TSXV) or NexGen (NXE:TSE)?

There were a lot of interesting presentation videos from that gathering last year. The presentations seemed to be pitched at professionals more than the usual retail investors at some of the other conferences. Soon after the conference finished a page came out with a full list of videos from almost all the companies exhibiting. For months it was a first 'go to' reference site if there was something I was curious about. I looked just now to post it here but I seem to have deleted the bookmark and can't find it again by googling.

Hi Proton, that's interesting. Nothing on the Sandstorm site to suggest the use of that nomenclature; presumably it's just a trading name. SSL's other protege, Trek Mining is also presenting but only 1-on-1 as well. It will be interesting to see the various presentations if they are published. Ergama, another SSL streamer, are also there, and I have in interest in Mawson Resources (non-SSL, as yet!) who are also at the summit.

A quick trawl of the internet seems to show that SpinCo has not yet been officially renamed

I held both SSL and MARL on the Transact platform and have had no difficultly in trading them on CREST. The transfer worked brilliantly and I just now hold TSX listed SSL. Trading costs for CREST shares on Transact are £3.25.

If you hold Sandstorm would you get shares in new SpinCo company ?
I see that Glen is presenting/1-on-1 only in Colorado under the name *Mariana Cote d'Ivoire & Argentina*

Yes, these are the shares I got as a result of the combination. I have been told that they are held via Crest (CDI)) rather than directly on the TSX. Therefore, my holding can only be traded via a UK market maker. They did tell me when I queried it that Canadian stocks can be traded online but not these ones that I have been allocated due to the reasons above.

Are these shares from MARL? I have held Sandstorm in a TD trading account and ISA. I bought live on the TSX not through Crest. I hold a number of Canadian Stocks in both accounts (and a SIPp) and have never had a problem.

Just spoke with TD Direct. As they are held via Crest on TD Direct they cannot be traded online. It has to be telephone dealing with a charge of £52.50 !!

As trades are placed via a UK market maker, you can only trade with "live" prices between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

Does anyone know of a UK real time trading platform where these can be traded directly on the TSX rather than via Crest?
