20/12/2017 13:34 | That's the way I see it was. | veryniceperson
20/12/2017 12:33 | Now yielding 7% , hard to imagine will drop much more unless the dividend really does reduce , contrary to the intended policy. | wad collector
20/12/2017 11:44 | Might be support at this level. 1200 very low. Time will tell. | veryniceperson
20/12/2017 09:00 | Support 1286Going back to April 2012If this fails next stop 1200 I think | supermarky
20/12/2017 08:09 | Will these drop below 1300 today. Think they will. No Santa rally here then. | veryniceperson

15/12/2017 23:00 | Well wad, I think like Brexit we'll have to wait and see how Corbyn gets on. I still have faith the British public will see through the deceit and not vote for them. As for SSE, I think it's the usual pendulum swinging excessively as often happens. I still believe this is an exceptional buying opportunity for yield now and capital gain later. I have the patience to wait and the confidence I won't be disappointed. | warranty
15/12/2017 19:39 | Sadly warranty I think that enough of the British Public believe Corbyn's promises to make a Labour Government plausible. Don't think we are any cleverer than the Americans who voted in Trump... That said , I am not sure very much has changed fundamentally for SSE in the last 6 months to justify the price change. | wad collector
15/12/2017 14:47 | SSE still falling. | veryniceperson
14/12/2017 20:52 | Hi warranty. I also hold NG as well SSE. Some very good post on the other thread. UtyINV Knows his stuff about MY always worth a read. Sorry guys writing about NG on SSE thread. | veryniceperson
14/12/2017 18:02 | I think you can already see the signs of that already vnp, Corbyn is just being used as a front man to McDonnel and his cohorts but we saw it before in the seventies when infighting thankfully destroyed the left through strikes and physical violence. The British public may be slow but they're not stupid and many who voted for Corbyn at the last election did so as a protest, thinking he had no chance but now they know how close they came, they won't do that again. That and the Tories not being stupid and over confident will ensure no slip ups next time. | warranty
13/12/2017 18:25 | Warranty you could well be right, self destruct they probably will. | veryniceperson
13/12/2017 18:07 | Not a problem if they do drop further really supermarky, just an even better opportunity to add. Let's face it, it's only temporary, negativity that's affecting these at the moment and long term like other Utilities they're a no brainer. All this nonsense about a Corbyn/McDonell government is absolutely ridiculous. Apart from the fact they'll self destruct as always long before the next election, the U.K. Electorate is far too intelligent to be conned by nutters like them. They conned young voters last time but after reneging on promises afterwards, even they won't be kidded twice. So relax, fill your boots, take the dividends for now and the capital growth through price recovery will soon come along too. | warranty
13/12/2017 14:50 | Vnp - how much further can these drop? They can drop and drop and drop some more. If the market says no likey they can drop like a stone. My guaranteed stop loss is set. | supermarky
13/12/2017 14:48 | I have bought today with a stop loss placed just below the very obvious support area. I suspect I'm not alone. If support fails this could drop sharply as everyone will be stopped out of long positions. | supermarky
11/12/2017 11:21 | Increasing consensus that dividends going forward are safe. | minerve
11/12/2017 08:28 | How much further can these drop. Brought my last few at 1360 and thought bargain. Buying back stock, thinking a good thing. | veryniceperson

23/11/2017 08:31 | The share price has become rather volatile recently , intraday swings of 3% seem about normal. Good for traders. Just digesting the Shetland News. I think it is bad news for SSE as the link will not be built. But maybe not that simple... | wad collector |
