27/7/2021 16:35 | Just one bus would give us some confidence that others are on their way. | goodapple
27/7/2021 12:46 | The Middle East seems pretty much under control, but the press coming from Asia is bad. Quite how that reflects what is happening on the ground is anyone's guess. In the Philippines they found the time to inaugurate the Main Control Room regardless and I imagine that business goes on somehow elsewhere. Update on Thursday and curiously Finncap said in April that they would update forecasts in July with the interims - it almost seems that they were not expecting large contracts before then or they would update as they came in. | lavalmy
27/7/2021 12:22 | I guess the key phrase is: “ …..and are now pending their contract processing upon relaxing of Covid restrictions and normalisation of the government's contracting procedures…. If Covid (delta variant) is running riot still in the Middle East/Asia, that is presumably the “get out clause” for further delays? | bones
27/7/2021 11:10 | This was the 'state of play' reported April. We're now 4 months into H1. .."In April 2020 we advised that of our pipeline of validated new system opportunities included three in the Middle East region worth approximately GBP75 million that were expected to commence within a few months. However, the unexpected length and frequency of Covid lockdowns has delayed these into the new financial year. During the year four new system opportunities in Asia worth approximately GBP50 million have developed more rapidly than expected and are now pending their contract processing upon relaxing of Covid restrictions and normalisation of the government's contracting procedures. As of this statement, based upon customer guidance, we expect three of the Asian opportunities and one of the Middle East opportunities, with an aggregate value of approximately GBP71 million to commence during the first half, a further one in Asia worth approximately GBP14 million at the beginning of the second half, with the other two Middle East contracts , with an aggregate value of approximately GBP40 million, to commence later in the second half...." 4 x contracts 'expected' in the next 8 weeks ? That would make a fleet of buses... Ho hum. | extrader
23/7/2021 16:07 | The 50K buyer - if it is they - has just bought another tranche @ 33.0 when the 1413 bid / ask was 30.0-32.5..... Let's hope that turns out to be an 'inspired' move. | extrader
23/7/2021 09:46 | Thanks BarrieB Audited results next week(which should include post balance sheet events and outlook) and AGM in 2 months....let's see which of the 6 'oven-ready' contracts wins the bake-off ! | extrader
23/7/2021 08:52 | Hi Extrader Well, most days 50k some days zero some days x2 or x3 depending on how the market is behaving. They are very careful to ensure purchases do not tick up the ask. So if we say an average of 50k/day for say 2.5 months is 2.75m so about half way but it could have been going on longer before I noticed it! Also not all 50ks will be this/these buyer/s but it is just too regular and consistent for it not to be a concerted effort to accumulate. Yesterdays 50200 was not run of the mill so not sure what that was all about! They really are/have been? making very good use of this uncertain negative effect waiting game. Time may tell and all in my humble opinion. | barrieb
23/7/2021 08:00 | Interesting 50K theory. A disclosable stake would be about 5 million shares/£ 1.5 million in purchases AIUI, do the volumes you've been seeing support that ? | extrader
22/7/2021 07:33 | I would think so, Ed, as well as payment. Maybe not all the £5.7 million. | lavalmy
21/7/2021 22:33 | New picture on the website of BFAR control room. Is this a main milestone? | edhaysler

21/7/2021 17:01 | Well that’s the 50k theory blown-for today anyway! | pinkfoot2
20/7/2021 11:15 | pinkfoot That is exactly why I informed this board as there is more going on here than at first glance and it is the clever patient way it is being done. Just watch more closely and you will see! | barrieb
20/7/2021 11:11 | BarrieB Thank you for sharing your interesting thoughts. I too have been watching the almost daily repeat performances. The share price being walked down slowly, with a seeming determination to secure an apparent downward 'trend' at each close. I have also been thinking that it is too regular to be a coincidence. However, your interesting comments give me food for thought. I have been drawn to the timing of the generally smaller-sized 'sells'. Wondering if a predator was in the wings and seeking to manipulate a reduced cost to steal our company. I am not the 50k person - but I have been "shopping at the sales" ;-) | lazyj
20/7/2021 11:04 | Well if he is shopping, anc buying up stick, why is the share price falling? | pinkfoot2
20/7/2021 10:23 | I see our 50k buyer is continuing the accumulation of quite a considerable holding. They are doing it very patiently with the market ignoring the astute purchases in amongst the negativity of this waiting game. They are taking advantage of any negativity, either market sentiment or weak holders running out of confidence or patience. It seems to me that this is just too regular (almost daily & sometimes twice or three times if the opportunity presents itself) to be anything other than an individual / ii or a very small core of investors quietly going about their business while the opportunity presents itself. For those without L2 who will probably not see this going on in the clever way it is, this in my opinion is a fairly clear indication that they are very confident of a positive outcome here and that an element of further patience is required. They may have more information than we are aware of and their level of confidence must be far higher than many to keep pumping £15k-£20k into the shares at every opportunity. No comments on further patience please as we have heard them all before!! This is the second time I have posted about this (last post 4th June) so this has been going on for over two months, probably three and we all know what WB. says about 'going shopping when the sales are on' and being 'greedy when others are fearful'. Well folks this in my opinion is happening right now to our SRT! All in my opinion folks but probably not far off the mark. | barrieb
19/7/2021 23:26 | No but you can always sell up if you are unhappy with your investment like the rest of us. No one forces anyone to remain invested except the investor. | alter ego
19/7/2021 14:55 | Anybody get an email about contracts? | pinkfoot2
17/7/2021 08:04 | I got an email from my mobile provider telling me I could add on maritime roaming if I wanted. A closer look at the offer intrigues me. Firstly, it is limited to up to 12 NM out which suggests line-of-sight hence terrestrial. Secondly, once you get close to a port or the coast the roaming switches off and you revert to your normal package. Does this mean that they have set up, jointly or alone, a separate set of masts covering the sea? Or is it actually satellite but limited to 12 NM to avoid cannibalising existing customers? Or is it just a scam because they can perfectly well use their existing masts but can detect from the GPS if you are out to sea? Unfortunately, you have to switch it on and go out to sea before they tell you what the tariffs are. Sounds like arm and a leg territory if they are that coy. There is no indication of coverage either | lavalmy
