I think you have to assume more than 3yrs because opportunities are not yet orders and then would be spread. Over 5yrs that would be £26m pa. which gives more credence to current cap. And still with upside from assumed 20% conversion.

yump,

some of phase 1 went into the previous FY (otherwise it would have been a disaster). It is impossible to tell if more from phase 1 went into this FY or not.

What is slightly worrying is that with the scope of the plan being changed, that as said before, phase 2 and 3 is not a guaranteed deal. It does depend on the changes to phase 1 being signed off (we know how long that can take if multiple govt depts. involved) , and then assumes the contract to SRT being roughly the same as before.

What we don't know is why the Indonesians have changed the scope and whether that is a good or bad thing. Hopefully good.

BTW, not sure they can claim an order book of 77m if the main contract is being rewritten and SRT themselves say they don't know the value of the new contract.

Yump, they say that there was a delay in payment not that the work was not booked. You will see that the receivables figures has increased by over £3 million. The amazing thing is that cash levels have stayed broadly the same even though these payments have been delayed.

They have orders of £77m over next three years and sales opportunities of £270m.Assuming they achieve 20% of the sales opportunities and all their orders over the next 3 years that would have turnover of £131m which averages at £44m pa which is about 400% more than their 2017 turnover!!

Results better than expected and forward projections encouraging but trailing p/e still very high (imo) - We need to see updated broker notes on forward projections to see if forward p/e becomes more affordable (imo)

So they actually achieved those results without anything from Phase 1 of the Indonesia contract, if I've read that correctly - or at least a minimal amount ?

I'd rather hoped they would have pushed people towards SRT, obviously the divorce they had has seen to that.

Doesn't that just make AIS more attractive to boat owners and authorities and help enhance the AIS market.
I've long felt that the risk here is more to do with AIS take up rather than SRT's position in the market.

available to ALL manufacturers, so no allegiance to SRT then!

exactEarth Broadens Small Vessel Tracking Offering

Canada NewsWire

CAMBRIDGE, ON, June 1, 2017

exactTrax helps to enhance vessel safety and address global overfishing

exactTrax will have real-time vessel tracking capability

CAMBRIDGE, ON, June 1, 2017 /CNW/ - exactEarth Ltd. ("exactEarth" or the "Company") (TSX: XCT), a leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, announces that the Company's small vessel tracking solution, exactTrax™, is now available for integration with all AIS transceiver manufacturers. A number of different exactTrax-enabled transceivers are already available, which enables customers to choose the most appropriate hardware for their small vessel tracking needs.

exactEarth's small vessel tracking service now available with any transceiver model (CNW Group/exactEarth Ltd.)

exactTrax is a secure, proven and cost-effective solution for providing users with a complete picture of small vessel activity in their maritime domain. exactTrax continually monitors the millions of small vessels navigating the world's oceans and waterways, and supports SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), fisheries management, maritime surveillance and a host of other applications and services designed to enhance domestic security and vessel safety, and to minimize global overfishing.

exactTrax satellite messages are encoded prior to transmission, and are therefore transmitted securely, regardless of hardware selection. On reception, the messages are decoded by exactEarth and then made available to the user.

"Our announcement today will broaden the availability of exactTrax to more potential users worldwide," said Peter Mabson, CEO of exactEarth. "In addition, with the recent launch of exactView RT Powered by Harris, exactTrax users will soon benefit from real-time small vessel positional updates, which will further enhance the security, safety and economic benefits of our service."

All exactTrax-enabled transceiver platforms support standard AIS SART functionality in case of emergency, and transmit standard AIS Class B position reports for detection by terrestrial AIS networks and nearby shipping, or when required by an administration.

Just wondering whether the goings on between Qatar and its neighbours will advance or delay orders from that direction. Certainly the better equipped MDM capable states are less likely to be sharing data with them as things stand!
Meanwhile we await enlightenment from the results commentary tomorrow morning. Hope for hints as to how visible the next approaching bus is.

Thank you for that link Countryman.

June 7th should not be that special a date I think. SRT say they will announce a contract when it is awarded. Have to assume no new award so far and no reason to expect it by next week either. SRT seem to already have a contract with Indonesia
:-)

So it might be a good annual report, full of positive noises, but no new meat.
Or should I say jam? Anyway it will remind people about AIS, maritime domain management...and SRT.

Fish and fishing...I agree with you...VERY important.

ps:philjeans...that Philippines picture is old, no ?

I wonder what did stir up the price today. Some tipsheet ? Anyway the shares still look very cheap and undervalued.

Indonesia and Vietnam both potential customers for the SRT MDM system. What will June 7th statement say?

Fish and fishing is so important to these countries (and to many more)

That picture re Philippines on the gallery probably stirred it up today.

A big contract there would be the cherry on the top!

My thinking is that the narrative of this years final results will have changed from last year. We have contracts in place that could lead to dividend payments, that may or may not happen this year but will most certainly happen next year.

Stockopedia quality and value ranks for SRT are very poor at the moment, understandably so, it requires a good look under the bonnet to see the future value here, remember the "2017 will pale into insignificance compared to 2018" comment? I think that remark may prove a little premature as year ending Mar 2019 will be the stellar year but 2018 should give a good uplift over 2017.

Given 2017 result release and consequent forecasts we will see far better quality and value translated which can be seen by the wider investment community bringing in new investors which in turn increases the mkt cap threshold that will entice institutions to buy.

Rose tinted glasses yes but this is my view.

Very light volume so doubt any leak. We know they are close to concluding at least two more contracts...but 'close' is not done and nor is there any timescale. News of contract awards should whoosh this higher...as well as nomad finnCap's research note and profit forecast...whose timing is also unknown.
