21/4/2017 10:09 | Philjeans, I fear you are right...but I prefer my rose-tinted spectacles. | yumyum
21/4/2017 09:16 | Far, far too early to dream of surplus cash distribution; the FD will need every penny for years to finance the massive working capital requirements of several very large and very long complicated contracts. The more work they get - the more cash is needed to fund it. Seen many profitable and growing businesses go to the wall sadly, throughout my working life, because they've literally run out of cash. Not complaining - in for quite a wad here over many years - but let's not get carried away! | philjeans
21/4/2017 09:14 | riv - it's there, just cunningly disguised! | supernumerary
21/4/2017 07:47 | Simon Richard Tucker! Happy coincidence! SJ | sailing john
21/4/2017 07:46 | Ha, fair play...I'll get with it, maybe I'm just thinking of the three letter code! | dylanl2
21/4/2017 07:23 | sn, Dylan, They have already changed their name and it does not have "Software" or "Radio" in it. | effortless cool
21/4/2017 06:29 | I've always thought a name change would be on the cards, we deal with hardware and software and radio isn't the only form of communication we deal with. Maybe a change of category bundled with a name change? | dylanl2
21/4/2017 00:15 | Hi glenn - always good to see old friends ;¬) Watched here for a very long time, finally took a position near the bottom - worked out well so far. I rate what ST and team have achieved here very highly. yumyum - I think the company can, if not decide, at least advise what sector it wants to be listed in. If it really is in financial services (and that's not just an advfn mistake) then it's clearly wrong - maybe Aerospace & Defence (pushing it a bit), or Electronic and Electrical (bit mundane), or Tech hardware & equipment (weird for a company with Software in its name), or even Mobile Telecoms? I don't think sector ratings really matter until it hits the indexes, but if somebody's running a filter for say interesting tech defence stocks, as it stands srt won't come up, which is bad. I like the idea of 'inevitable large cash profits'! Getting a bit ahead of yourself, maybe? Personally I'd feel a bit disappointed if a tiddler I'd bought for growth ran out of ideas and started handing out cash to shareholders. | supernumerary
20/4/2017 22:59 | sn......indeed....a strange sector for SRT to be allocated to. Important is....'show me the money'. Once the cash money profits are realised then I think the company will HAVE be looked at in a different grouping. Defence or tech would make sense I think. What would be alternative sector scenarios? Inevitable large cash profits this financial year ending March 31 2018 will be too big to sit on. What would shareholders like? Dividends, buyback of shares or investment in acquisition/equipmen | yumyum
20/4/2017 22:20 | good to see you here sn. just bought a few of these | glennborthwick
20/4/2017 18:24 | 'tech/naval defence company'? ADVFN thinks it's in the 'General Financial' sector... | supernumerary
20/4/2017 17:55 | Good point ! Go Philburt, go !! 90p per share would put SRT market cap at £115m. IF earnings are north of £10m post-tax, as I expect for the year to March 2018, then that is not an unreasonable market cap for a tech/naval defence company. | yumyum
20/4/2017 17:25 | TP - Well, not that one correct prediction represents a trend, but I think I still have a 'pint behind the bar' for winning the last one! lol | philburt
20/4/2017 17:20 | I'm sure we're all with you in wishing you good luck with that one Phil! | the prophet
20/4/2017 17:08 | Share price competition? Well, I'm going to go for a sporty 90p, on the back of one or two more contract wins being announced ahead of the 7th June.... | philburt
20/4/2017 11:42 | Multiple over-lapping projects, at long last. Should lead to greater visibility of revenues although we can still expect them to be 'lumpy'. | the prophet
20/4/2017 10:40 | Agreed TP. Also good to know that there will be thereafter webcasts approx every three months. Sounds like they expect to be busy (what is new !!?). It seems like they are already very busy actually. On both tech and sales/contracts' fronts. It is going to be a fantastic year I am sure. | yumyum
20/4/2017 09:59 | Not too long now till the web-cast, should be a very interesting update. | the prophet
20/4/2017 09:56 | Eagle - that usually just means that there is a large sell order in the background that may or may not get declared at some point. Whilst it appears attractive to buy at below mid it should be seen as a potential warning of downward price pressure. | sailing john
20/4/2017 08:51 | Today's early morning trades at sub 42p are buys, not sells. The spread is currently 41-43p. | eagle eye
20/4/2017 08:14 | goodapple...on your 7th June share price competition I will go for 84p. I am expecting post-tax profits for 2017-18 to be above £10m. Once profits are locked in then I expect company share buyback programme to commence and the share price will shoot further upward. | yumyum
18/4/2017 23:04 | No problem. Hopefully we can now all concentrate on SRT going forward. | yupawiese2010
18/4/2017 22:51 | yupawiese2010 Thanks for the cut and paste, and my apologies for the grief. I'm not familiar with stockopedia, and I'd assumed that the post referred to was just commentary from one of its members like the comments in this thread. Anyway, up another 2p today when the rest of my screen was red, which helped me come to terms with my guilty conscience! | clitheroekid
18/4/2017 16:32 | Talking about unreliable sites I believe is how it started : ) But you have put your finger on the nub of the problem SRT was not mentioned once as how a properly run company operates. | dieseltaylor
18/4/2017 16:10 | Fascinating stuff but...er what has this got top do with SRT? | 2vdm |
