Terminated I'm in at 225 and change. My thoughts have always been to top slice at 330 and sell 25/- and then try and run the balance 100/- for the long term. Wish my timing had been better but at least some of the punters got in at the right levels below £3 . It's been dead money for some time now but you've got to be patient I guess. My views on MA and SPD are the same if I'm in or out . I think the big fella's got a plan and they will go higher. All the best sir

Can they break through 310 and stay there . If so 315 could be the next stop. Lots of questions just have to wait and see.

There's got to be a winner . Buyer or the seller? Makes for good viewing .

This reminds me of some weeks ago when they were stuck at the 292 level. Almost a carbon copy but this time it's not SPD buying.

Seller gradually getting mopped up. There seem to be a buyer out there and it not day traders because of the narrow trading range.Sorrow I woke up 7 months early.

On reflection I'd rather they got to £3 and then we would see what these boys are made of.

FIDELITY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED (FIL)5.1628,941,329ODEY ASSET MANAGEMENT3.6420,460,848PHOENIX ASSET MANAGEMENT PARTNERS LIMITED3.2418,198,848There's definitely a seller around from the States as I've mentioned last week. But since SPD announcement on Friday night it does make you think what might happen on a trading basis .These I believe are the top 3 shareholder and I would like to think Odey will try and remain loyal to his old mate. When you look at the other 2 institutions they could easily be taken out in one bite. Remember SPD can buy another 55m. If they were sellers and wanted out then at £3 all their wishes would come true but they haven't yet.Another question comes to mind . Let's say they did sell out and they've lent stock to short sellers then that stock would have to be called back in . This could create a double whammy .The next biggest holder apart from these guys owns 1.61%.MA gradually taking control of the share register. This is just my perspective from a trading point of view.

NorticAs you worked in the city (pmsl) you would obviously know:A) What "free float" actually means, andB) That U.K. FTSE Index companies have to maintain a certain minimum percentage free float, namely 25%.SPD free float is currently 214m (38%).DD

Maybe we should all do the maths together and then we can all draw our own conclusions but one thing is for sure that as far as the free float is concerned they are as rare as rocking horse .....Don't forget the 55m more SPD could buy back IF they hit £3

MorningIt's good to get clarification on what's what regarding shares in issue this morning. I've also requested an up to date shareholder list and will then rework my calculations. These are just one of many things that can determine how and why share prices move.Have a good day.

So that's another 50m shares SPD are willing to buy at £3 from the 85m(79m on 10/4) share target from the last buy back. That must be a vote of confidence because MA wouldn't buy them if he thought they were a stack of .....His voting rights will also go up. He's effectively buying the company back under everybody noses. He's no mug
