07/9/2010 09:58 | Chaps, House broker note as discussed .. Sport Media Group* SPMG (FTSE AIM All Share) BUY Sport Media Group completed the reverse acquisition of Sport Newspapers in September 2007. We believe that the enlarged multimedia group has the potential to outperform the wider newspaper industry in terms of both circulation and advertising yield growth. The shares are underpinned by a substantial prospective dividend yield. *Daniel Stewart acts as Broker and NOMAD to Sport Media Group (January 2010) | luchan

26/8/2010 13:04 | Unfortunately volumes in SPMG have dried up from the significant trading activity seen in early - mid August, where close to 20% of outstanding shares changed hands only on AIM itself without counting Plus. I was suprised of the speed with which Lloyds stake was taken below 3%, but unfortunately we need a return of volumes to take out remaining Llyods holding. This would not take very long and in my view will happen on or shortly after interim results day, which is scheduled for Sep 20 so only 3 weeks away. After Lloyds stake is cleared this will move higher, particularly given bombed-out share price. Given that market has essentially ignored positive news-flow in this name all year long I hope that with evidence of return of profitability over 1H10 this will change. | pedro57
