A deal sooner rather than later is important, imo, as the oil price has strengthened somewhat and looks likely to continue. 'Distressed' or bargains are less likely going forward..


so, get your finger out, bite the bullet, and get on with the stated plan.. or give the money back

I would not disagree but such statements actually mean these advisors WILL be paid at sometime so initially its a cloak to cover their future cost buried deep in the AD wording

It’s those advisors that allow DD to be conducted internally without further expense. Also they mentioned broker appetite so seems that could have been a stumbling block for any deals that they had approved of. Profit potential probably put them off as they’d prefer rampy basketcases they can juice for placing fees... ;)

On further analysis the company has a problem ...a multiplicity of directors and advisors each with their own concept of what constitutes a good deal. This in itself will cause problems as to how they agree between themselves on a deal, bearing in mind they come from different disciplines.

Much better a small tight, highly focused board without so called advisors

They need to carry out DD on their targets then raise cash etc etc so 6 months at least before we get anywhere near flotation price arghhhhhhhhhh

Still no sign of a deal. The one's they were looking at in detail have been rejected. Disappointing but shows how important the right deal is for shareholders.

Keeping tabs on this. Very much a similar situation to upl waiting for a decent asset or two to be added to the pot. Always interested in what curry is in.
