"In particular, the Company is investigating a number of potential reverse takeover
candidates in the oil and gas sector. As a consequence of this Board
decision, the Company has now become an AIM Rule 15 cash shell, which means
that the Company must make an acquisition or acquisitions which constitute a
reverse takeover under Rule 14 of the AIM Rules by 12 October 2017, otherwise
the trading of the Company's shares on AIM will be suspended. If the Company
has not made an acquisition or acquisitions which constitute a reverse takeover
under Rule 14 of the AIM Rules within six months of such suspension, the
admission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled. "


so basically if a cash shell doesn't make an acquisition within a time frame, it is suspended, and if nothing within a time frame after that, the listing is cancelled..

does anyone know the dates for SOP ?

does anyone know the regulations concerning a shell company looking to buy an asset?

I was under the impression there is a fixed time limit to do a deal, or the company is would up, and cash returned to holders

Not showing on ADVFN but on LSE there was a 168k trade on the 16th. So as you say they either took just under 3% in the IPO or soon afterwards as there was some volume at the start.

I would guess they bought just under 3% in the IPO placing, and then 170k ish recently to get to this notifiable amount..
However, if you click through the advfn trades pages, there has been no where near 170k recently, especially if you discount a 50k rollover a few weeks ago..


either way, its nice to see some volume

ive been on my own here for 3 months now, nice to see a bit of interest!

During that three months, trade volume has been virtually nil, in fact nil on many days. I would therefore suspect that people are holding on to their shares, to see what project SOP finally buy. Price could move pretty quick with decent buying volume.
