Tilly. Inventory is £2.66m not £3.5m. I agree it look high given sales and COGS but it has always been high. I think when we had this discussion a couple of years ago we agreed that there was every chance that on the banknote and related contracts part of the contract is that SPSY have to maintain a high level of the materials for security of supply purposes and with the newly renegotiated contract we announced it could be that this requirement has increased. On the flip side I think we would all agree that trade receivables are pretty low as a % of sales so on balance working capital is reasonable

I kept asking about this inventory matching a years sales!! Everyone just said not a factor..well I think it is and for this reason I see us falling to 80p unless we get some trubrand news or a buybackThat is the biggest negative about this company..why the hell have we got 3.5m gbp of inventory ??!!! Sonofa..I would stop buying and look for nearer 80p as the tech sector is v weak,im normally a buyer on weakness but I do think we are going lower short termFurther out I still think we double but this inventory number is a worry and I need to speak to the analyst to get more colour on it

It wouldn't be a bad idea for the company to use its cash pile to buy back shares. Hopefully something in the pipeline. Clear out overhang from down under.

A genuine bear market does not end until there is general capitulation. That is to say there are no enthusiastic buyers out there.
There is no bounce, the market gradually recovers over several years, dramatic day to day price changes are gone.

I think there is buying into the year end as the institutions try to massage things up for their year end performance figures. IMHO
