I also added this morning. Dividend last year was 5c. Can't see it being less than 6c this year - so 4p+. Yield of 4% on a growth stock with a rock solid balance sheet is exceptional. Results in March.

I view today's fall as re-test of the previous breakout too and hence added earlier on the low's.

Spot on allyp. If this is the limit of the fall then all we have seen is a back test of the breakout. Onwards and upwards if that's the case.

Looking at their revenues and total loses for the year we are well under valued....wonder what we would be valued on the Nasdaq.

Someuwin, thanks for that info, most useful. Either a buyout or similar growth all sounds good to me!Somewhat strange to me is why SPSY is on AIM rather than listed over in the USA. I have noted that back in around 2003, there were plans to list on NASDAQ but these were shelved, possibly due to the negative fallout from the IT blowout after the dotcom bust?I am unsure of the events that led to the eventual raise of funds via AIM.

Lots of coverage in today's papers about traditional barcodes disappearing from supermarkets in the next few years. Due to new invisible 'barcodes' which can be read at any angle and by mobile phones.



This new technology is being introduced by a US company called Digimarc. And seems very similar to the sort of things SPSY are involved in.

A look at Digimarc's website shows they are into Digital watermarking, anti-counterfeiting, authentication etc etc - same as SPSY.

Digimarc are quoted on the NASDAQ (DMRC) with a valuation of $350m.

I wonder if SPSY will grow to be a similar size in a few years? or will DMRC buy them out beforehand?

With your large holding in Spectra l am sure you are not concerned ....although l did find Rainmakers appearance last year rather strange.

Tilly l am glad l didn't listen to rainmaker concerning Titon, its flying this morning was able to top up last year at 1.30.

Tilly you should not be worried about short term movements. We could get an announcement on Trubrand at anytime and only 6 weeks till results ...that should could the share price steady.

Agreed Harrogate I think I'm my ISA I also had 15pct withheld which is annoying Re shop broker w h Ireland we should all send them emails putting pressure on the seller..can only be Worsley...to fill in TR1 which is obligatory under Aim rules when they go below a percentage of their holdingWhy should there be one rule for one and no rule for others? It's there overhang which is causing market uncertainty

Hi. It hit my accounts in £ so I guess there is a formal exchange rate. I got 15% deducted in my trading account ( but you need a signed W-8BEN on file or they deduct 30%) In my SIPP it was paid without withholding tax

I don't hold these currently, just wondering how the dividend is treated, doe's it arrive in USD? with any withholding tax deducted? any differnce with Tax treatment if held directly,in ISA or SIPP?

Obvs i am delighted with yet another ahead statement this morning, our 6th such statement in the last two years! Disappointing though to see the share price slip back to 115.5 at close and to see a measley 170,000 shares traded. This is way under the radar, the house broker should be singing this companies praises from the roof tops, however as per their hands off approach with the persistent seller we know that's not going to happen don't we. I know it's difficult to value and there is a lot of promise and unknown with trubrand but i hope this isn't going to slip back again in the coming days?
