07/1/2019 08:38 | Don't think Reg S is a factorNot sure why there are two lines of stock but i don't even look at the other one as all the volume in in SPSYThanks for the support levelsIt's obvious that 120p is a crucial level to climb as we have got here a few times | nico115
07/1/2019 08:16 | nico, hi, what are the 4m to sell? Is this something to do with Reg S restrictions? | bamboo2
07/1/2019 08:12 | On back of last RNS I'm upgrading my price target from 120p to 200p here. It's the second best RNS since I held Spectra and am delighted with the progress Nabil and his team are making. | nico115
04/1/2019 17:30 | With 4m to sell!! : ( | nico115

03/1/2019 10:53 | Even out in Goa...where l can buy a pack of cigs for 60p ...there is a market for bootlegged cigarettes and they even have the neck to charge more. | sonofbanjosinger
03/1/2019 10:22 | Horndean Eagle- surely that is only a small part of a bigger picture. If these things can be checked on an I-phone etc then imagine the ease at which customs and other authoroties like the police can check authenticity and then chase back the ''trail'', and target the source of the problem. I have worked in mines, Factories, banks and other areas and have concluded that those who knowingly use fake cigarettes PROBABLY also partake in other.....illegal activities and tax dodging to say the least. | pj 1
03/1/2019 09:57 | Its generally in all parties interest to stamp out counterfeit product. Especially when most of the tobacco companies are effectively Govt controlled. The key will be adoption by users of the product and whether they really care what they are smoking is genuine. | horndean eagle
03/1/2019 09:26 | Someuwin, that's an interesting thought and with the authoritarian hand of Government at their disposal you would think the Chinese wouldn't have much trouble making the technology mandatory. | shakeypremis
03/1/2019 09:01 | I was intrigued by one particular line in yesterday's RNS, When talking about the billions of cigarette packs sold annually in China they say... "Approximately 60% of the price is believed to go to government tariffs." Why put that line in? Here's my thinking... At 60% tax rate, the Chinese government makes more money on tobacco sales than the cigarette manufacturers. Therefore, they have more to lose from counterfeited tobacco packs - and more to gain from deterring / preventing counterfeiting. So, if this latest trial is successful, will the Chinese government make TruBrand usage mandatory for ALL cigarette packaging?! "...This launch of TruBrand(TM) , to be incorporated into approximately 6,000,000 -8,000,000 cigarette packs to be sold in China, is aimed at gauging acceptance of the TruBrand(TM) technology and further refining the product for use in potentially billions of units for larger volume brands in the future." | someuwin
02/1/2019 15:41 | I for one would like to see that bullish divergence. Nabil's the man! | fozzie
02/1/2019 15:23 | To get a feeling for just how big this could be in china alone, look back at the RNS from July 2017 when the got regulatory approval for TruBrand(TM) materials in China... "Dr. Nabil Lawandy, CEO of Spectra Systems stated: "We believe the approval by the CTSRC is a critical achievement in the commercialization process of our TruBrand(TM) technology for the large tobacco industry in China. The opportunity for the Company is significant with over 200 billion cigarette packages being sold annually in China" | someuwin
02/1/2019 15:07 | Looks like a potential breakout pattern | luckymouse
02/1/2019 13:00 | Sonofbanjosinger, Enjoy your trip South - Some years since I was down towards Palolem but stayed at the Taj Exotica Resort in Benaulim and had a few trips out. I guess the share price will find its higher level and head towards 1.50 before long. | clocktower
02/1/2019 12:21 | I would have liked to see us break through the 120 ceiling Son. We keep getting ahead statements or news like this and we move up to 120 and then drop down again to say 105. It would be nice to see us break through this line. For that we will need greater clarity on earnings. OT - I bought some BMN at 38.5 on the first leg down, back up to 50 and down again to 38 in short order, crazy share, just a small position, fun! | fozzie
02/1/2019 12:18 | Maybe hes gone to China, buying as many cigarettes as he can? ;-0 | pj 1
02/1/2019 12:10 | Strange not to hear from Nico today ....he must be pleased. | sonofbanjosinger
02/1/2019 09:23 | No large seller about NTV though i will say that we seem to have a glass ceiling at 120p for some reason. I guess some flesh on the bones will come with results. Happy to hold. | fozzie |
