Very pleased to see the board finally get the buy back into gear. Authority to buy back for cancellation 4.5M shares so plenty more to go at should they wish to. With the share price down from around 160 only a few weeks ago it's a good level to buy at imo.

They will be an accumulation of shares. There has been the odd 35000 and 43000 sell in the last few weeks but i wouldn't have thought any where near 650,000 needed to fulfil those three buys. It may well be another buy back, just strange that they have confirmed only one lot of 225,000.

Yesterday afternoon trades;

15.58 Buy 325,000 @122.5p
16.13 Buy 225,000 @122.5p
16.14 Buy 100,598 @122.5p

Pretty hefty buying for Spectra, the 325 cant be the company or we would have had the note by now.

225,000 shares bought for cancellation by the company on June 24th (yesterday) at 122.5 I wish they had waited till next week as the divi should land tomorrow and the price is obviously now a few pence higher. Good to see these buy backs continuing.

We still have the conundrum that market forecasts show negligible eps growth, and decreasing/flat dividend.

Piddling amount of shares sold this afternoon and over 5% off the share price, oh well keep it coming now till next week. c160 to 115 in next to no time. Was the hope of winning an order in Asia really worth 30% of the company. Obvs I have rose tinted specs here, I have been invested for 6+ years and hold a fair few shares but I didn't see that as factored in. Our CEO will no doubt have something up his sleeve for us.
