More than just the Indians then?

I bought some just now. This isn't on the radar, and stock is so tight, otherwise people would be piling in.

I'd like to see recent high of 90pish+40% (which is fairly usual for takeover premium), which with luck means quite a bit of upside.

The Board of SEG (AIM:SEGR), the specialist engineering group, announces that it has received certain approaches that may or may not lead to an offer for, or an acquisition of, the Company. It should be noted however that discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that any potential transaction will be concluded.

A further announcement will be made when appropriate.

I presume so, on the SEGR website shareholders page Standard Life hold 4.11% and now in the RNS it staes they are upto 5.86%

Standard Life increasing their holding! Will be interesting to see how the next few month plams out in regards to potential takeover with MBE technologies.

good solid figures,this stock is very cheap compared to weir and harmony,taking into a/c the mkt cap of only £17m..my view the the share price should be nearer £1 than 75p ..

its a possibility limit up, they seem to be edging up there stake every couple of months. To take us out they would have to put a premimium of the share price on the table though
