I'm seriously considering doubling up here, or even tripling up. My main question though, is what happens after March 14? This appears to be the disposal deadline, which seems not very long away. What happens if deals are not completed prior to that point. Anyone got a view?

I was reckoning on about 15p after deduction of D shares (£8.1m for management per last accounts) and final year expenses.
Assuming that the NAV in accounts is as considerably understated as it seems to be. Without an increase it's about breakeven, I think, so hopefully limited downside

Sorry to bang on about this but our 10% holding in Academia is on our books at £924,000. The recent fundraising and Mendeley sale , must mean this company worth at least £45-50 M= 1 p of extra nav

Open x £5m (2% on a £250 value). My guess: in excess of 1b$ on float(minimum 2% = 12.2m extra 1.75p nav

QS99 - when a company announces a divi, it offers the chance for those to get in before the cut-off date, qualify for the divi and then exit, ergo not unusual to see the share price go up prior to ex-divi announcements and then fall back post.

In the case of SPK, the 27th was the cut-off date for qualifying, thus I'm pleased to see that hardly anyone chose to sell this Mon or Tues (long as you were on the register e.o.d Friday, you'll get the divi).
