16/6/2011 18:27 | Billyboy....Thanks for the link...very informative and covers a wide range of issues associated with SCHE and care.... My take on it is that HMG is very focussed on ensuring that SCHE exists to provide the care with Lenders and Landlords all in agreement. Boy...do we have some numpty MPs though!!!!! | bridge2far
16/6/2011 18:23 | Warwick............. Words reassuring as they can be, do not replace hard facts and especially figures, which the markets usually respond to. Once the numbers are released and appear favourable the share price should begin to climb. I think the share price has a platform to work from now,but without a doubt the stock was being played today, the sudden dropping of the bid to knockout stops to catch people napping. Giving the brokers an opportunity to garner some cheap shares,as soon as there is concrete numerical evidence of financial restructuring. The price will opened up high and the cheap shares sold into any price strength all things being relative. HMV is also a play thing, just get your timing right, anything with a shadow of doubt above it will get played with. On another point of valuations,if all company's traded on their fundamentals the FTSE 100 will be around 2000 and not 5600. As the saying goes....When the cats away the mice do play. I think news will be in days(according to the house of commons debate, which speed, in itself suggests debt restructuring) as opposed to weeks, fingers crossed. Still well worth a punt. | b1llyboy
16/6/2011 17:41 | House of commons today. Interesting discussion. | b1llyboy
16/6/2011 17:08 | some one care to explain how yesterday this was all going bust and they confirm agreement from landlords which should be good news and the share price rises temporarily to close lower than yesterday? this share trading beets me every time? and over at HMV we get terrible retail sales figures which should add to the gloom and doom yet it closes up 14% really makes no sense. It just goes to show that news is irrelevant it all depends where the big players want to take the share prices. Seems some can control someof these shares at will. | warwick69
16/6/2011 16:39 | smelgy is about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit | clarendon
16/6/2011 15:50 | Get rich quick.........That's reverse psychology, right? | b1llyboy
16/6/2011 15:33 | This new (and somewhat ill-fitting) sanctimonious stance of our dear venerable Mr. Smelgy would probably go down well in the Kremlin but it doesn't wash here. Maybe all the wholesalers who supply SC should do so at cost, since its not right to make money out of the elderly. Same goes for the utility providers, caterers, contractors, you name it, they should all do it at cost. Why not go a step further and ask all the staff to work for free. Because its terrible that they should be making money out of the elderly... | boffster
16/6/2011 14:54 | for once smelgy i actualy agree with you on this one...the people running the show will always find away of making money out of it..as for the shareholders...canno | get rich quick

16/6/2011 09:19 | Check out REM smelgy's home patch,may give you some insight. | b1llyboy
16/6/2011 08:58 | Smelgy,i agree the eldely come first, after that what's wrong with a punt. My Grannie is in a care home(not SCHE) and punting on the GG's is what keeps her going. Even bought her a few for her PF after she asked me to. | b1llyboy |
