Can't believe we are still below 40p after listening to the Malcy and Brian Mitchener
interview. I think a few people will be dissapointed they did not take a chance at this level, well i hope so anyway.

The new data was a significant improvement and we are able to identify the TAGI presence with confidence. as a consequence Te-9 is now better than a 30%CoS

Yes actually the ground works for TE9 and TE10 will be completed at the same time so TE10 pad will be ready quickly. This delivers some cost synergies on the ground works and is the reason we don't start ground works at TE9 today (ie we want to finalise the exact TE10 location before starting ground works)

I am pleased to report that I expect ground works at TE9 to start in the next two weeks or so. We also expect the webcam to be live within the same timeframe. Once ground works are complete we will mobilise the rig (about 23 days travel time) then testing. Then we are game on for spud.

As with other questions put to JP I can see no reason why the rig should not be mobilised 23 days before the expected completion of ground works? It should then arrive and be immediately put to use! Unless of course the rig is not ready?

MG-W today:

Sound has announced that it has raised $15m at 37p (a 7.5% discount) to ‘strengthen the company’s cash position before initiation of the high impact 3 well exploration programme in Eastern Morocco’. This is contingency money so to speak which puts Sound in a strong position at the negotiating table at a later date as they have enough cash at this stage anyway and therefore a smart move I suspect.

Placing was expected but it is a pity that we have not been told who the placing was with. Do we therefore assume that it was via a Bucket Shop and are they locked in for any period of time or are we going to experience regular selling into any share price strength as has been seen with UKOG? As a long term holder, I am curious and would like some more information.

Now the placing is out of the way we should see the share price climb into the first drill.

If that is a success the sky is the limit!

The bottom should be in today, having the opportunity to add around 38p could not be sniffed at!

US$15 million Placing and TVR

Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, is pleased to announce a placing of new ordinary shares to raise US$15 million before costs (the "Placing"). The net proceeds of the Placing of approximately US$14.25 million will strengthen the Company's cash position as it initiates its high impact three well exploration programme.

Sound Energy has today issued, conditional on admission, 30,829,308 new ordinary shares of 1p each (the "Placing Shares") at a placing price of 37p per Placing Share. The Placing Shares will, when issued, rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares. Application will be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on or around 6 July 2018.

At 30 June 2018, the Company's issued share capital consisted of 1,019,954,543 ordinary shares. Following the issue of the Placing Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 1,050,783,851 ordinary shares. Each share has one voting right and no shares are held in treasury; these figures may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
