To a certain extent I agree, I was just reporting what a young professional woman is doing !

As for getting a life, she’s 28 and just bought a £1.1million home in London, is progressing rapidly up the ladder in one of the largest investment banks in the world and thinks nothing of jetting off to NY for a weekend bash. I don’t know you, but I know her and a life she certainly has!! and I bet she earns more in 1 year than most posters on here could earn in 5,probably x10 actually when you count in her end of year bonus ,she therefore has little time to ‘shop’ , she works hard and parties hard , this is the demographic Sosandar are after .... but they have to realise these new young feminist high earning women are going to be ordering a lot ...but returning a lot too

That’s me finished here , I was responding to a comment on ‘returns’; that DID feature in the earnings report

I have no position and never will, even at 12p it’s grossly over-valued, how tiny little companies like this, with no management of note, ever get an IPO is beyond me. Every day my wife receives expensive unsolicited brochures from companies that do exactly what Sosandar does, it’s a competitive retail minefield and Sosandar has no unique proposition that I can discern, imho, any investment here is going to go down the pan :-(

sweenoid,

I suggest your niece gets a life and stops wasting retailers time.

Failing that why doesn't she just go into a shop !

Buying 30 dresses in the hope of keeping 1 really is very sad behaviour.

Oh dear RubberBullets, you still haven’t learnt to read.
The results published Thursday covered 12 months of trading.

RatheanStill begs the question why sell any if you believe these are wort 20p?.How on earth can anybody see these results as good, they are likely to outturn at a loss of £2.8m to £3m which will be a massive miss on expectations/forecasts by at least 47%.......and you think that's good!, clearly you didn't as you sold, sold all IMO.I hold but still prepared to say it as it is, this will be seeking another placing in about a years time, or sooner if AR has anything to do with it, mark my words. BOD salaries will be astronomical, just like ORE.DD

I hold no shares here
The only reason I am commenting is that my niece who is doing very well working in an investment bank in The City was telling me 2 weeks ago that she was going to an ‘event’ and had ordered 30- yes thirty dresses/ outfits to try on,from online retailers, with the intent of hoping just one would be ok, which it duly was. She returned the other 29!

At the time, I thought it was balmy, how many others do the same, ordering from multiple retailers, I didn’t ask about returns policy, because I wasn’t interested. Buying by credit card of course means that there really is no actual ‘cost’ as the items won’t be ‘payabke’; For many weeks after the ‘purchase̵7; which strikes me as more of a ‘borrow’ anyway, so as long as a buyer has good credit they really can stack up their trial purchases- seems insane.

Having seen Sosander terrible earnings and policy of free returns, I asked her if she had ordered any from this company ( after all , she is in their demographic) , she had, the outfit she kept was not there’s , she couldn’t remember how many, but quite a few were from SOS.

It strikes me, that a lot of high earning young women ( like my niece) don’t have the time to shop, so do it online, if her behaviour is becoming normal, that is multiple orders with intent to buy just one, then Sosander and anyone else offering ‘free’ returns are doomed

Just a thought - do they limit the number of items that can be ordered and returned free?

DD I sold half as stated and will look to trade as I have since they listed. It's tough for those who see it as ramp or deramp, the rns was good without being spectacular imo. Something it there for both sides, rubber bullets fevered rantings on one side and TWs see no evil ramping on the other... truth is some way in between.

Looking forward to the HSR defensive brief being published on TW's main site. Always good for a laugh reading logic that directly contradicts the logic used on the analysis of non AR stocks.

Sure you were reading the SOS RNS?You are full of contradictions, you posted yesterday these are worth 20p, so why sell half, then you say you are trading rather than long term, so you sold up completely then?.DD

The RNS states indirectly that the increase in costs was through more expansive marketing, videos etc. They have a 3 year plan to become profitable, no online business is profitable from day one.Having said that the performance was good without being exceptional, the cost per customer higher than they had predicted. All n all a solid start, for full disclosure I sold half my holding at a loss Friday, more than covered by a huge win on IMM. I remain invested here and will continue to trade on volatility rather than hold long term.

Had made a note from somewhere that broker forecasts for the year was £1m rev and a pre tax loss of £1.9m.Looks like they will beat on rev but a significant miss on pre tax loss, they are already losing more with Q4 still to go (covering Jan sales!).So another tanking in the offing combined with a begging bowl sometime next year IMO..........they (the BOD) have to maintain their very high living standards. Was prepared to give this the benefit of the doubt, but based on admin expenses alone it's obvious where AR is taking this.DD

Reynolds will bleed this dry.Cost of sales increasing more than revenue, margins dropping, not sustainable. The ticker is the only thing they have got spot on!.DD
