With two very positive trading statements since the company was listed I would expect that the results when they are announced in the next few weeks will be positive so effectively the shares at these levels are just a giveaway

11 months to July 31st it had risen to 847k gross sales
Net after returns of 478k
March to July added 200k in net sales annualised to 600k net sales per annum
on the last figures i could find to July 31st 17.
Yopu would hope for north of 1 million net sales to March 31st. Gross sales ahead of this by circa 43% i.e £1,430000 gross sales. I think this is where I would want them to be. Thoughts anyone? Derampers asides.

Haha, lucicavi’s been saying that for weeks.
Social media numbers still growing around 1% per week, not bad given the height street is generally falling. More good reviews on FB post Christmas.

Small top up before interims which are due any day now.
I still view this as a punt, hoping I'll be happy with the decision this time next month!

Perhaps the market does not regard it as world class. Look at BOO trading well below previous levels, just the same for them. These cos have a honeymoon period of high valuation then mkt loses love for them until they start to drive profit growth. Still would hold BOO but not this one

4000 dresses in a week you say.
Average price of a dress on the website = £60

4000 x 52 x 60 = 12.48M

You saying they're selling £12M pa of dresses lucicavi?

Maybe they had sold 400,000 of the same Dresses?

Also, any Returns wouldn't go to the Office would they?

Margin is all about scale, but how do you accomplish scale in ordering when modern fashion markets are monthly trends, not seasonal? So the investment has to be in marketing, they have huge scale for improvement across social media and more consistency of coverage in front of their core audience... daytime TV and colour supplements.I'm positive about SOS as a concept, it's easy enough to buy sales online but it's their cost per customer thats the most important metric, so repeat orders from previous customers a huge plus.

It's a good point Rathean - are they gonna grow this organically or make a cash call?
Pretty much everything is outsourced as far as I can tell, so it's only really marketing / staffing that's going to need the big investment.
I'm not an expert though so would appreciate others comments on what the costs of growth could be for the next stage

@montynj I'm big on online retail, been in the business since 2002 so always interested in businesses like SOS. At this stage it's a double-edged sword, success brings it's own risks of a cash call to expand rapidly following their proof of concept. So, happy to buy on dips here and if I miss out on a rise I'm well invested elsewhere Inc. BOO.
