I thought that today's excellent trading update from Next might have had a positive read across to SOS. No such luck.

Also cash has built marginally over the past 6 months even with investments in Human and Store Capex for the imminent retail format launch.

Apad they do have their physical store channel launch imminent which could drive revenue going forward.

Moreover I presume as the Sosander in-house direct to market physical retail channel is new to SOS and yet to be launched --> SOS hasn't included scope for higher revenue via the same in their revenue outlook.

It appears SOS has incurred the costs of the store fit-outs and bottom line should benefit if the stores are a success.

With net cash approximately 40% of market cap at a share price of 8.5p And net assets 90% of market cap at this 4 year low share price - SOS could go down but risk/reward is skewed to the upside IMHO.

"Predicting no growth in Revenue but increase in margins"
It's a nice little shop going nowhere.

8.50p a new year 4 low!!!

Just 10% above Current Net Assets!!!

Wow this small trade turned out to be a dog - with management aligned and prior 2024 positive trading updates along with a solid balance sheet I expected better HY Results/momentum going into own store sales.

Admin costs aside from departmental store sales - with a sizeable increase in headcount will hopefully lead to higher margin volume growth!!!

Director Buys would be welcome!!!

Next and M&S seem to be stiffing them (largest contributor to the admin costs that are hurting the bottom line).

The trouble is, the market does not believe in the strategy or the Company.
Until they start some decent PR, and reporting and updating on the effectiveness of opening their own stores, it will remain in the doldrums.

What is the investment case, and how can they convince anyone it's investable until they can disclose and demonstrate a return.
