Been watching these for a few weeks - but lack of liquidity has put me off.

12% rise on the back of less than a grand's worth of shares is a bit of a concern.

I seem to recall my concern was a few very major shareholders, and i felt the risk they could take it private anytime they wanted, leaving any PI's a little lost.

Thanks.

I'll keep watching for signs of life, offer down 2p since i posted, seems
to be a overhang, problem is just 2 market makers with 5p spread each, that
dont help either.

Catch : their last results showed that profit in RMB fell from m 22,6RMB in the first half of the financial year to m 7,2RMB in the second half.

They say that things seem to be going somewhat better now, but they just witnessed a dramatic fall in profitability...

I keep looking at this one !

Am i correct here.

Market cap 7.51 mil, profits after tax 2.8 mil.

Cash or cash equivalents 6 mil, various debts 4.6 mil.

Is there a catch here ?

Are profits expected to fall again, is it because it's a chinese stock
that is looks too good to be true etc etc, Taih always had a lowly rating
etc etc

I agree about the £ v RMB that is a big reason im looking at these and other chinese shares. Ive done well previously out of ACHL, and now im in ETC, a chinese travel agent, which is a very high risk play, but with huge potential upside if they can become profitable.

hmmmm - still watching. its been a disaster so far with interrupted production but they did make a profit last year. i suppose links to CFC might give them some credibility. depends how the new facilities pan out ?

Bought a few more shares as at year lows and if profits in line with previous year on a PE of about 3 which leaves a lot of room to go upwards. Also fall of £ against RMB should also help.
There is no real way of knowing in this type of share - only for gamblers but as I say upside seems more then downside.

I recommend viewing these in conjunction with CFC China Food Company, they have the same management and major shareholders, and seem to be at similar stages of development by adding production facilities

Anybody have a point of view on these?
