borg45 sold a block at 5.54 but kept my profits (20%) as stock as I'd quite like to keep a small holding long term as this is a very interesting but very volatile stock).

Thx1 sold at 5.52 took 1300 profit not bad for 3 days work, love to buy again if they dip . Bought 50000 boohoo @1.89 looking for anything over 2.00

Sold at 548.1 with decent profits. I know it could go higher, but with the results coming up next week,I thought lots of people would want to play it safe.

Sounds like a plan, I'm running a trailing stop loss on this stock and tightening up as we near results day.

I bought in at 4.62 so will look to keep my profits as stock as I'd like to keep my toe in the water on this long term but can't keep a big holding as it is so volatile and sensitive to the tiniest bit of bad new :-(

Sophos results are out on 17th May

If they have profitability and cashflow improvements to match the sales growth in their interim update then the share price will go up whatever the charts say.

5.40 looks like a resistance level, it may get broken before 17th May or it may not.

If profits are improving then I'd suggest getting back to Jan-18 levels of 5.70 seems likely or even above 6.00.
However, if it gets above 6 then beware the risk of APAX selling off the remainder of their stake.

Any bad news on the profit side and this will be back to 4.25 as there price is based on a forward pe of 25 that assumes they can make an operating profit of at least £100m ($140m) on their forecast $1bn revenues in 2-3 years time.

To get to the target price of 750p this needs to be more like $180m operating profit (or potentially the city would accept $180m of adjusted profit excluding items like share based payments to employees)

540.5 is overhead resistance. My chart shows a potential turn sometime tomorrow, not sure at this juncture whether is is a high or low turn, so not much use! Depends on closing price. This is still a way from my tp.

The more I look at this, the more I feel the next stop should be 580p. I think we will visit 580 before the results.
