After checking his credentials, this director does not have any added value for Sophos technology. Just a usual consumer of shampagne and caviar in receptions to finally tell nothing.
A good way to reduce cost a leave the real wealth creators: The engineers and researchers. A good thing at the end.

IMO this could regain 50% of lost ground before close today then will power ahead to reach 700p - 750p following with a strong rally around Xmas time/year end as many funds will accumulate this unique gem.

A very good opportunity to top up as this is a heavy weight heading to £10+ within one year as its sale range and cyber security requirements increase.
SOPH is the only UK based cyber security firm - Thus hoping it will never be taken over.

windsor - no comparison. That IQE placing raised money for the company via new shares. This one doesn't - it merely shifts ownership of existing shares around.

IQE announced a placing earlier in the month - and that lead to a lovely uplift in share price .. maintained its upward trend too.

It's a secondary placing from pe. It will be like ly be at a discount. maybe 605p to 610p? Then again market might have been waiting for this to get out of the way

Big announcement just made---can anyone enlighten me on this one--a bit unusual--- excuse my ignorance here but is this a good or a bad thing. The hare price rose quite rapidly today--is this related. I would appreciate any helpful info . I have only held these for a few months but they seem to be a very good company going in the right direction and I bought in with the view to a long term hold. GLAH. Any information would be most welcome.-Thanks in anticipation.

Ministers had hoped to avoid potentially damaging cuts to the military if the review recommended a boost in MoD resources to fight terrorism.

But The Telegraph has learned that Mark Sedwill, the national security adviser, believed it was more important to increase funding to fight cyber-attacks than bolster the Armed Forces.

A long term heavy weight hold.
I was aware of this stock long term rewards only when it was around 440p but IMO this is only a start for a long and strong growth. I will look at the SP, for assessment and possible profit not earlier than 2020.
