18/1/2019 18:52 | Sp filled the 3/4/2017 Breakaway gap this morning, tested the 280 historical support and 23% fib line. Only one Breakaway gap remaining 29/6/2016 184.8 - 190 | bamboo2
18/1/2019 18:35 | Are you just talking about Soph or generally buying on bad news and selling on recovery? | r9505571
18/1/2019 17:18 | There is potential to make 5% to 10% most trading days if you follow this carefully. I’m happy with my 7% today after costs. Looking forward to Monday. | curriedquaker

18/1/2019 17:17 | Got hammered myself today and had to immediately average down significantly to make my losses slightly more bearable. Moreso as everything else was shooting up on the FTSE.A very mealy-mouthed trading statement. Not pleased! | bladerunna62
18/1/2019 16:55 | Borg - I personally think the update is not as dramatic as translated by today drop. Soph has always recovered because any excuse is taken to justify a battering. I also bought today a few thousands at and under £3. I will keep half with my older holding untouched for the full recovery and any possible takeover bid (we never know) and will start taking some profit from £4 with the other half. | fuji99
18/1/2019 16:53 | So there was potential to make 10% on this stock today! | r9505571
18/1/2019 16:50 | Crystal ball trader! ? | r9505571

18/1/2019 14:54 | I've bought more and dropped my average from 4.60 to 4.10 | borg45
18/1/2019 13:58 | Interesting trend noticed on the main chart: From December 2017 to November 2018, (Feb 2018, March 2018, July 2018, Nov. 2018) EVERY sharp drop was followed by an immediate strong rebound of more than 5%. So if the logic holds and if as Borg said, a few massive buys are put through after 4.30 pm, we should get a strong rebound next Monday which go through Tuesday, especially if Nasdaq closes with a positive note. | fuji99
18/1/2019 13:26 | Today is the official Trading Statement at their website: "FY2019 Q3 Trading Statement - 18 Jan 2019" Full Year FY 2019 Results Release Date will be on 16 May 2019. IMO this is a good opportunity to buy/top up to get at least 15% - 20% return in less than one month. Then if things improve, which they will as Cyber-security threats are rising, with their Intercept X doing very well, the share price will go back to over £5 after finals. That is 67% return ! In any case this is the only major cyber-security stock in the UK to hold. There is also the possibility of a takeover if the share price remains below £4. | fuji99
18/1/2019 12:53 | Wasn’t the trading update due on 7th Feb? I didn’t see any news saying it was going to be brought forward? I guess I took my eye off the ball. Anyway, if the reception to Intercept X is good as they say and it only came end of Q3 then hopefully full year results and going into next year things will pick back up again. Hopefully. As I’m way overexposed here! | llama1978
18/1/2019 11:36 | Hopefully someone who knows how to run this business and write a RNS which actually shows some positivity comes in with a bid !!! and all the useless board get the boot why arnt we seeing any director buys after the last fall before this one ???? | borg45
18/1/2019 11:34 | :( Was just about to sell now have to wait another 6 months. Sigh. | llama1978

18/1/2019 10:28 | The stamp duty makes it a bit expensive to trade. I prefer the ones without it. | fuji99
18/1/2019 10:13 | Still the best share to day trade in the FTSE 350. You can make money with the daily swings in Sophos. | curriedquaker
18/1/2019 09:41 | Expect the share price to at least be over 330p in the afternoon, when the market realise how harsh was the punishment. | fuji99
18/1/2019 07:12 | I hate the metrics they use- it works against them- they need to keep it simple or else investors think they are trying to hide something. 2% increase in operating cash flow doesn’t look so good. | rock star
15/1/2019 10:17 | Must be another big seller this just can't keep hold of any gains | borg45
14/1/2019 17:28 | Sorry typo should be 325! | bladerunna62 |
