Powerful breakout this morning.

Broker tp of 1000p looks easily achievable given that the historic PE would be just 25.

Hi trinko, I did some calculations based on the Broadening Top pattern and got a minimum tp of 775. I am unfamiliar with this pattern and it is the first time I have tried trading it!

The stock was difficult to buy both on Friday and Today. Had to place order.

That was some statement from Sopheon (LON:SPE) this morning. A huge leap in profits well above forecasts, net cash has soared and there is going to be the first ever dividend!

Broker has put out a target of 1000p on these and I think that is realistic.

Shares usually go down on results day if a share has gone up (better to travel than arrive etc) so I was expecting the shares to fall and my plan was to pick some more up, maybe next week.

They did fall a bit but then the buyers were coming in so I waded in and bought some more SPE.

Now intend to sit, hold and hopefully relax for more gains in time.

So price target of 1000p is only p/E of 25 historically. Seems not expensive

Even the dilluted EPS figure when converted back to sterling came in at 40p which means the historic PE is only 16.8.

Even though this is my largest holding i added more this morning.

MNGF. I have not read in detail. Good point on debtors which have grown. However, they also say record 4th quarter sales of $10mn. I suspect the debtors are directly related to unsettled 4th quarter sales. I would expect to see these come down as a percentage of turnover in next report.
