Looks like the election is providing the proverbial 'buying opportunity', especially as Gold is also going up.

Maybe people starting to realise that Cascabel is just one of many potential world class assets.
Of course, huge funding will be required to carry out the exploration on the other targets in yesterday's RNS, but we have a good backer in Newcrest, as well as the previous interest from bhp billiton.
Or, some news is imminent and someone has advance knowledge

The outstanding options at 28p and 14p should bring in about £11.2 million. I'd expect Nick Mather to hold off from another fund raising until Solg has published its first resource statement and/or made a big discovery at Aguinaga or one of the other targets outside of the growing Alpala deposit.

The wording of the strategy release makes it clear he wants to establish Solg as a world-class player on the mining scene - I would be more than happy for him to do so.

Now Solg is becoming 'exploration central' for Ecuador, they have been very busy, but how do they intend to finance all this industry? Perhaps a new business model where Solg do the finding and proving on a pre-arranged basis for big miners?

That 45p was very popular, lots of sales there. Eventually value will out here, that 15 billion tons isn't going anywhere.
