24/3/2017 19:11 | mark ... I'll be a year older | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 18:26 | I'd be happy with 75p or even 60p though when we start drilling Aguinaga then who knows, we could go bonkers confirmation of a district at Cascabel then that would be very nice | mirabeau
24/3/2017 18:17 | What are people's 12 month expectations | markth126
24/3/2017 16:49 | Yes... Nice finish to end the week. It's definitely got a lot of support at 40p | smoothtrader
24/3/2017 14:49 | SP perky today :O) | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 10:22 | 'Explorers are being lured to move into Ecuador by discoveries made by Brisbane-based SolGold Plc as well as into the Canadian Arctic by Goldcorp Inc.’s Coffee gold project and into Saskatchewan following NexGen Energy Ltd.’s Arrow uranium discovery, he said. Goldcorp, which won the Coffee asset with the acquisition last year of explorer Kaminak Gold Corp., said in November the gold sector faces a decade-long output slump without the development of new mines. “What would really propel the market forward would be a giant discovery, as the sizzle from this would encourage other companies,” Schodde said. | mirabeau
24/3/2017 10:12 | That was a surreal day. Holding Solg prior to that @ 14p. Lucky to sell enough to cover my original investment. For some reason took up my alotted shares and applied for more 3p. Hold on you will make money. Was very impressed with Nick Matthers presentation. Well worth listening to.Good luck. | mam fach
24/3/2017 01:47 | Mam. Each to their own. I can image the temptation of selling. You'll be quids in. Like me.. Im in at 10p and some days I feel like hitting the sell button. I got sucked in at 60p and 47p when these propelled to 75p ish many years back.. Though I'm now near enough to break even. My 10p trance I'm aiming to keep these till the very end..whenever that may be. Good luck. | smoothtrader
23/3/2017 23:05 | Been very hard to hang on especially as my purchase price was 3p. Gut feeling price still has much more mileage. IMHO | mam fach
22/3/2017 22:51 | Agreed rodders. CEO did say that he will sell up once a true value is unearthed. So ure right he'll sell up maximising shareholders investment. Hence why this is being supported by the strength in shareprice and why the big boys are building up stakes.I dont think we've heard the last from bhp or any other explorers. It's very interesting times ahead. We small time investors have to hang in there until then. Switch off the screen and watch ure investments take a new dizzy height. All realistic £1.. £2.. £x | smoothtrader
22/3/2017 22:28 | Someone will be buying amc and jlp shares soon, telling you | marmar80
22/3/2017 22:21 | Didn't you just know someone was accumulating. Question is why would Rosseau Asset Management be buying further 1 million shares @ 39p? Answer is simple. They think they are cheap @ 39p and have loads more potential. Listing in Toronto must be closer than we think. Happy Days. | mam fach
22/3/2017 16:32 | Personally, with each positive exploration update I think it brings the bid closer to reality. Bidders will not want to hear confirmation of the CEO's recent claim that we HAVE doubled the resource. We are getting more expensive per RNS. The bid could come out of the blue when you least expect it. That's why we have so much support at these levels. bwtfdik ODR | onedayrodders
22/3/2017 14:04 | oneDayRodders, perhaps I should do it more often :¬) But being realistic Solg has a market cap of 560mil, presumably supported by the hopes/expectation that a large mining company will want to start production there at some point in the future. In the meantime metal prices look likely to rise as fiat currencies lose their value, plus copper coming out of a long cycle of depressed price. Then there is an off chance of a miner making a pre-emptive bid in order to secure a long term supply, but they would likely want more confirmation that the metal really is there, before launching a bid. | lefrene
22/3/2017 09:53 | Rosseau happy to accumulate Rosseau Asset Management Ltd. is one of the best Toronto-based money management firms that caters to high net worth and institutional investors globally. | onedayrodders
22/3/2017 09:19 | lefrene ... I always like it when you predict nothings gonna happen or we will drift back etc. We always seem to move up then ;o) | onedayrodders
21/3/2017 22:32 | Not expecting much movement ahead of result of presidential run-off in April, which IMO will not adversely affect SOLG whichever of Moreno or Lasso gets the job. TSXV listing should puff the price a bit as trackers climb on board. Initial resource statement ideally required for that and to support the move up to main market in London. When that is coming is anybody's guess. Some say current market cap is out of whack for a miner that's not going to sell product for several years. I say fair value currently about 52p based on estimated volume/grades and a modest % figure for value in the ground. Then there's demand forecasting and the prospect of copper shortage around the time Alpala could be ready to deliver. This is a slow-burner but it's so big and well-graded that the RIOs and BHPs will have to look again. IMO there's very little downside atm. DYOR etc. | compoundup
21/3/2017 12:43 | I'm not expecting rapid growth here. In their recent very good video they explain the intentions going forward, which is to continue to define Alpala and it seems they would prefer a joint venture to exploit that. Then they talk of drilling 400,000 metres of rock over the next 5 years to define the rest of Cascabel. They want to get Alpala earning money so that they hopefully will avoid going back to the market to raise more money. So it would seem unlikely that there will be much upward movement very soon, I would be happy to be wrong. On the plus side they talk of a resource 2 kilometres square by 1.8 kilometres deep. Which (for fun) say 6km cubes 6 billion tonnes at $9kg (copper $2.70 at 1.5% ag value) So $54 billion of metal there at todays prices, say 5% of that for Solg $2.7 billion, or around five times todays price, a nice round £2 (my sums could be way off the mark) | lefrene
21/3/2017 11:58 | Nothing wrong in taking a profit. Good Luck. | mam fach
21/3/2017 11:47 | Lol, fingers crossed. | sorrento06
21/3/2017 11:22 | If they go to £1 it might make you a millionaire. Think I will hang on here. | mam fach
21/3/2017 11:04 | Just sold today, been a good ride. Putting my Profit in Prem with their RNS today. The next Sold imo. GLA !!!! : ) | sorrento06
20/3/2017 15:46 | Tempting fate here but solid support and new base it would seem at around 37p. Should be due exploration update soon | onedayrodders
17/3/2017 22:40 | lets hope so | onedayrodders
17/3/2017 22:37 | Could be an interesting week next week. Back to 40p never to return ? Perhaps investors waiting to get in @ lower price will be disappointed. | mam fach |
