If I remember right, thats us spent 500k and got 1 back for Burj. Thanks Mr. Ritson! Glad its gone as it was just a distraction and another potential disaster in an unstable area. Now, please give us a nice progress update on all these potential new projects.

Just in and thanks to StonefoLD. Looks like the licence is coming, could well be the next few weeks! hxxps://www.dailynews.co.tz/news/2019-10-035d962d0e0f064.aspx 04-10-2019 Tanzania temporarily suspends HGA negotiations with companies regarding development of the proposed Lindi LNG project. In order to harmonise the Host Government Agreements HGA with existing Product Sharing Agreements PSA. They wish to finish the current on-going PSA reviews before continuing with the HGA talks. The TPDC Managing Director said. "... It won't take long because for the time being they are wrapping up the (PSA) review.." "... There are some issues which need to be resolved but without going into details, we hope to wrap up the review any time from now. ..."

Surely the gas from Ntorya will be used for the integrated gas and coal plants the Tanzanians intend to build. Regards, Ed.

The LNG project is completely different ball game and a 10 year plan with Shell, Equinor and Exxon. They plan to make Tanzania a hub for gas and power distribution to Uganda, Kenya, south Africa etc. 1 Billion cubic feet per day within 4 years according the TPDC presentation yesterday and they plan do fill this from onshore gas deposits and they named Ntorya. hTtps://twitter.com/cperkin99/status/1179758120173789184

Great news from the Minister of Energy @ the O&G conference. "The Government outlined 4 areas that have high potential for natural gas discoveries, including Ntorya and is urging investors to conduct further studies" Energy minister told the Tanzanian O&G congress. I guess that means drill? hTtps://www.thecitizen.co.tz/news/Government-reveals-four-new-oil-and-gas-fields-with-high/1840340-5296680-y7e9lwz/index.html Looks like the licence is incoming at last.

He-1 is quite interesting too as that is due to IPO around October with drilling anticipated for early 2020. Its 100Bcf of prospective helium. The company suggest a price of $280 per mcf. So if that were to be successful early next year its potentially material as SOLO expect to hold around 10% of HE1 after the conversion of their loan into HE1 shares at IPO. If they get the acquisition mentioned and development licence for Ntorya who knows where this will be capped over the next 6-12 months. Regards, Ed.

dhelect, I'm not sure which mid caps you've been looking at but a mid cap tends to be companies trading with a market cap in excess of £100m. SOLO has the potential to do that from Ntorya alone where they have 700Bcf of gas, take 60% recovreable and just $1/Mcf that's $420m! Then there's 10% or so of 100Bcf of Helium (that's quite prospective though needs drilling and flow testing, but could be worth much more than Ntorya. Then we come to the interesting bit acquiring producing assets with 5000boepd within 3 years. Look at the market cap of Amer as a comparison, 20mmbbls reserves approx and 5,000bopd and cap around £300m. I could see SOLO getting to £100-300m on acquiring the right NS or N African asset, that's if it doesn't get there through appraisal drilling. A large cap or the top of the mid caps like you mention of $1-6bn is a lot further down the line. If they produce 20-50,000boeps net who konws, but that's more 10 years than 3! A mid cap (£100-300m) within three years is possible from either Ntorya or acquisition of the current target strategy. With three potential acquisitions now in the detailed negotiation stage they may be quite close. A mature north Sea field would do wonders for our cap, see SQZ as an example. If you haven't already its worth checking the recent RNS plus presentations plus youtube proactive interview and you'll know why the potential is there for mid-cap. Regards, Ed.

SOLO could be on the cusp of major success on many fronts. Having the same team that masterminded RRE's success, real underpins what is possible here, just on new production. never mind what we have already. Short term, we will be heading to double figs. Mkt cap is way short of assets we already have today. Throw in some production........I'll let someone else do the sums, 12 months 50p ont impossible!!

100+ bags? Its absolutely not impossible. For example I tracked Xcite energy from 4p to £4, buying in the 20s and selling in the high 200s. Unfortunately it didn't end well for Xcite but it shows what is possible over a relatively short time when involved in an interesting project.

Hi edgeinYou state in you post that solo see themselves becoming a mid cap company do you think this is realistic as that would mean that the share price would have to reach approx £3.00 as a mid cap company should be worth in the region of 1 to 6 billion pounds as understand it please correct me if I am wrong?

Has the new COO, left his position as a consultant for Gniess energy to join Solo or will he still be partially focused on fee income for them as well as the solo shareholders? Its not that clear in the rns.

Great opportunity to buy in at 10m mkt cap! Completely new management team and two imminent and funded potentially transformational drilling campaigns. And as you point out an ambitious new strategy for growth.A lot to watch here in the short term. GLA

Can, Yes they can be very material in the near term if AEX sorts out the development licence. It looks like their jv is proceeding so looks promising. This well has the possibility to be bigger than N-2 too and I'm sure you were here then too. It has the possibility to allow the jv to book 2P too. That could then be used as leverage for acquisitions an development. He1 is key too as you say and really near term, even if only 10% of that helium was recoverable its a vast sum of money at $280/Mcf. But the bit I'm really interested in isn't Tanz, although Tanz could be a company maker: "Commence a highly active period of screening opportunities (c.20) in line with strategic objectives - the Board has taken 5 identified opportunities forward through due diligence and carried 3 into detailed negotiation." "Actively screening acquisition opportunities with a net production target of at least 5,000 boepd within 3 years." Reads similar to when SQZ picked up Erskine from BP, by the time that deal completed the accumulated revenues had paid for Erskine. Management said in a previous video they were talking about non-core assets of the majors. So imo the likely targets for European/N africa gas are North Sea, Morocco and Algeria. SRSP have according to their finals secured a total of $25m for acquisition and they weren't coming from a place where they already had a massive gas find (Ntorya). So its quite possible that SOLO could structure something similar. Regards, Ed.

These two snippets are very important IMHO: - "The Company is fully funded for its share of the Chikumbi-1 well" - "Solo continues to monitor its investment in He1 closely as it progresses to public market in 2H 2019 and advances the planned drilling programme in early 2020." They will need funds, inevitable for a small cap, but after the results from the Chikumbi-1 well and He1 drilling is much better timing, when hopefully the share price is many multiples of where it is now! Can, Well He1 is due to IPO around October so there's going to be some market recognition of that and SOLO estimate they'll have around 10%. They're in detailed negotiations on 3 assets of 20 they've been looking at to acquire and see themselves becoming mid cap within 3 years. Market is totally missing the fact that they've circa 115mmboe in gas at present too. Hopefully see that to the development stage after the drilling of C-1 which has the added upside of targeting the potential for the elusive oil on the licence. AEX's team have previously suggested the increased oil potential the further west on the licence you go. So plenty of short to mid term upside on this current small cap. Regards, Ed.
