These two snippets are very important IMHO:

- "The Company is fully funded for its share of the Chikumbi-1 well"
- "Solo continues to monitor its investment in He1 closely as it progresses to public market in 2H 2019 and advances the planned drilling programme in early 2020."

They will need funds, inevitable for a small cap, but after the results from the Chikumbi-1 well and He1 drilling is much better timing, when hopefully the share price is many multiples of where it is now!

Can,

Well He1 is due to IPO around October so there's going to be some market recognition of that and SOLO estimate they'll have around 10%. They're in detailed negotiations on 3 assets of 20 they've been looking at to acquire and see themselves becoming mid cap within 3 years. Market is totally missing the fact that they've circa 115mmboe in gas at present too. Hopefully see that to the development stage after the drilling of C-1 which has the added upside of targeting the potential for the elusive oil on the licence. AEX's team have previously suggested the increased oil potential the further west on the licence you go. So plenty of short to mid term upside on this current small cap.

Regards,
Ed.

As of June 28th, Solo still retain a small holding in UKOG. (From year end results)

Vince,

Yes hopefully they were all gone during the first six months of this year at much higher than today's UKOG price.

Regards,
Ed.

Last RNS dropping holding through 3% limit. 18M shares added post this RNS due to IOW disposal. Other sales unspecified, but intent is to dispose of whole holding.

Well the interim results should be out any day, they came out on the 27th last year. Hopefully they sold out of UKOG when they were 2p. Its very interesting that they've just appointed 2 M&A specialists here as the company said they were looking at non-core assets of the majors. Perhaps its an old BP or BG gas asset like SQZ did with Erskine and then later with the large package of fields.

Regards,
Ed.

She’s from Oil and Gas UK, an industry body, not ukog. Saying that in case that’s what you thought, also because I can’t remember if we have any shares in ukog left either.

The two new appointments are quite youthful (36 & 40). I personally really like that, they will likely come with ambition and verve. It makes a nice change from the usual appointing of stiffs or old boys whose only intention is draining the company.

Ducks in a row you say, yes it appears so.

Find out soon by the looks of it Barony, October looks like the licence date. As for Helium-1 it's a mining licence and the terms have already been agreed post Arcacia.

Are we any closer to getting helium out of the ground, consolidated, shipped and sold? Will Tanzania give a production licence for it? Is there any point in investing/ wasting money in Tanzania?
