03/7/2018 12:25 | Obvious choice for HH upside is alba. No debt cash in the bank and only 11m cap for 18.1 percent of HHdl | tidy 2
02/7/2018 21:32 | The four directors of solo are paying themselves three quarters of a million in salaries per year. Plus ni and expenses. Year by year they are just taking the company. Despite a monster fall to all time lows. Very difficult for solo to move up with this lark going on. | barnetpeter

27/6/2018 06:24 | It is worth reading the SOLO RNS today. Horse Hill flow testing operations have started. "........Solo Oil plc (LSE AIM: SOLO) is pleased to announce that it has been informed by Horse Hill Developments Ltd ("HHDL"), the operator of the Horse Hill-1 ("HH-1") Kimmeridge Limestone 3 ("KL3"), KL4 and Portland oil discovery, that planned flow testing operations of HH-1 have commenced. All key equipment necessary to carry out a 150-day long-term extended flow test campaign at HH-1 is now on site. The Company holds a 9.75% beneficial interest in licence PEDL137 containing the HH-1 oil discovery. Following final equipment set-up and the subsequent removal of three temporary suspension plugs in the HH-1 wellbore, flow will first be re-established from the Portland sandstone oil pool. Testing of each of the KL4 and KL3 oil pools will follow completion of the Portland test sequence. ............" Zones to separately test: Portland KL4 KL3 There will be many days when they are not flowing oil so do not expect tankers every day. The main aim is not how many full oil tankers are seen in 150 days of testing, rather "....the 2018 EWT's prime goal is to confirm that the wellbore is connected to a commercially viable oil volume within one or more of the three zones. The long term reservoir performance data is also expected to provide the necessary data to enable, for the first time, Petroleum Resources Management System compliant Kimmeridge and Portland reserve figures to be estimated at Horse Hill. ..." | stonefold

26/6/2018 20:02 | I replied at the time stonefold, blimey admin can be a pain over there sometimes. I believe this would have been one of the options in the development study completed by GE. The plan is confirmed as a 33KM 8 inch pipe into the national gas gathering system for the first 3 wells followed by another 12 inch pipe for the later self funding wells. The 33KM pipe could be laid over just a few months. They need to drill C1 and recomplete NT1 & 2 as well of course but need that licence first of all! | cperkin
26/6/2018 16:25 | cperkin, I have re-typed this post (which was previously on lse before it got deleted) , because I consider it mildly interesting and relevant to SOLO that another company with gas wells in Africa, considers it financially worthwhile to embark on a project to feed 2mmscf/d of gas into a Compressed Natural Gas plant. Perhaps because it offers them the diversity to reach customers that are not now (and likely will not be any time soon) connected to a gas pipeline. You are right that building a short pipeline is probably a quicker and more profitable plan to start with in Tanzania, rather than bolting together a small CNG plant at the wellhead. --- VOG had an RNS today. That it had entered into an exclusive agreement to partner with Naturelgaz Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. ("Naturelgaz"), Europe's largest Compressed Natural Gas CNG supplier and distributor. Design, build and operate compressed natural gas ("CNG") infrastructure and solutions for customers who need mobile energy, initially in GDC's home market of Cameroon with the intention of rolling this out into other African countries Market CNG products, including bulk CNG and gas-to-power to industry and businesses which require reliable off-grid / off-pipeline energy solutions, as well as Auto CNG for alternative mobility solutions Phase 1 agreed between the parties is a 2mmscf/d (21mscm/y) CNG plant and customer distribution project currently in design stage. | stonefold

25/6/2018 10:54 | Has the annual report and notice of agm been published yet? Can't see it in the RNS list and if not is due end of this week latest. With both the AEX an SOLO reports later than usual looks like they are trying to incorporate news on the farm out or rig, but they are running out of road to kick the can down.... | dbfromgb
22/6/2018 15:05 | Good news Toppix, $455 million from the world bank to drive Electricity generation in Tanzania from hydro & Gas and power generation to more than triple over the next 3 years and only enough on line wells to cover about 5% of that. If only I could find a company with a 25% stake in 5TCF GIPP and 2 TCF proven that will benefit? | cperkin
