18/4/2018 13:14 | dhelect, look @ it another way. You have a $4.5 million Lamborghini Veneno you just need to fit a new gear box & give it a paint job and then you can sell it for full value. Do you, sell it for a small % of final value now or splash out on the gearbox and re-spray and get multiples of current garage value? | cperkin
18/4/2018 11:52 | "Farmout negotiations between the operator and Aminex" sorry should read the Zubair corp and the Operator Aminex. | cperkin
18/4/2018 11:45 | All 3 companies, Aminex, SOLO and the Zubair copr have already poured in millions without a 25 year development licence, why would you not fund one more drill for a total cost to all parties of a measly $15 million? CH-1 may or may not be a condition of the 25 year licence, it is however a condition of the phase 1 development plan as delivered by IO Baker Hughes (A GE company) The current Farmout negotiations between the operator and Aminex would suggest that once the funding is in place then it is game on for CH-1 and the EPS. Also CH-1 is not only targeting a much thicker part of the sands in Ntorya but the deeper Jurassic @ 3400M close to the Karoo source rock, the likely location for OIL according to the Geology - West and up dip. Is it reasonable to wait till you understand what you have, how big it is and if it produces OIL before awarding the 25 year development licence? | cperkin
17/4/2018 21:58 | OpekinYou seem to be convinced that all this is going to happen can you answer this question.CH-1 is surely a leverage to get the 25 year licence why plough more millions into this without a guaranteed licence. It's like doing some work for someone and they keep on putting off paying you and just saying just build this other garage and I will sort in out later when your already owed thousands of pounds from previous works would you carry on and do the work ? | dhelect
16/4/2018 19:59 | As an example This is why they’re doubling the portfolio of the French Agency for Development this year from 50 million Euros to 100 million Euros. This he said will be especially dedicated to energy, water, transport and other topics if necessary. According to the French Envoy, his country intends to be a “big player with Tanzania in a win-win relation”. hxxps://www.dailynew hxxps://www.dailynew Tanzania is open for business and gas is a major cornerstone for National growth. | cperkin
16/4/2018 17:22 | The Tanzanian Gov are not going to cripple international investment with a move like that & really you think an Omani multi billion $ company in the Zubairs don't know what they are into and how this is going to play out??? 25 year licence will hit soon enough, risked NAV for solos 25% of the asset is about $125 million and with Aminex farming out to the Zubair corporation, a value is about to be declared for solo's 25% Tanzanian gas processing capacity outstrips current well deliver capacity next year, run the numbers. Development plan is for 3 wells, NT-1 , NT-2 and CH-1 - on the way imo | cperkin
16/4/2018 16:20 | Barony That's been on my mind for a while now it wouldn't surprise me if the Tanzania Gov are using Aminex and Solo expertise to find the Gas etc and I also expect they are using local Labour as well which are learning off the company's professionals then kick Aminex and Solo out the country and recover the gas themselves. Are they to be trusted I mean where's this 25 year licence ? | dhelect
16/4/2018 15:46 | But no income from that production! | barony
16/4/2018 15:20 | The opposite, only here for Tanzania, massive proven resources and near term production. | cperkin
16/4/2018 14:26 | Only staying here for HH. Can’t see value in anything else Solo has as Tanzania gov appears to be rogue and unlikely to allow any rewards for investing in their country. | barony

15/4/2018 07:41 | Greetings solo sufferers The impending Farm out at Aminex with the Zubair corp for the Ruvuma PSA will provide a market valuation for solos 25% Question is, will any of that value be reflected in the MCAP and SP? Best of luck! | cperkin

23/3/2018 10:31 | Both UKOG and ALBA are awake enough to publish an RNS today giving an update on Horse Hill. "UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that it has been informed by Horse Hill Developments Ltd ("HHDL"), the operator of Horse Hill licences PEDL137 and PEDL246, containing the Horse Hill-1 ("HH-1") oil discovery, that it has now received final decision notices from Surrey County Council ("SCC"), discharging all of the pre-commencement conditions. This follows the planning approval in November 2017 by SCC's Planning and Regulatory Committee to enable HHDL to carry out extended flow tests at HH-1, plus drill and test both a sidetrack from the existing HH-1 well and new well Horse Hill-2. HHDL has received the necessary permission from the Environment Agency and is now awaiting approval from the Oil and Gas Authority. " | stonefold
23/3/2018 10:14 | Only news worth hearing is development licence news. Can the Tanzanians be trusted? | barony
21/3/2018 14:22 | Not for NT-3 they don't. FO will be last piece of puzzle before NT-3 spuds, and huge increase in SOLO share price This FO is key for SOLO too. | phoebusav |
