16/12/2017 20:18 | I would take 50p right now....! That's my Porsche fund done if it makes it. Got close before at around 42 but still think this will hit 50 within 12 months.. nm has lots of skin in the game still. | markth126
16/12/2017 17:33 | In your opinion Lefrene, how likely do you feel an offer for the whole of SOLG actually is? | alwaysevolving
16/12/2017 16:29 | It begs the question, why did NM give the Canadian bank such a juicy deal when presumably he could have waited for the MRE and done a deal at a higher price? One can only suppose that it was done to curry favour for a later date, perhaps when others wish to borrow large sums to buy one of Solg's sites? I'm guessing that all of Cascabel has something in the order of 15 million tons of copper in it, the worth of which as a refined product is currently worth $100 billion. As NM says due to the available infrastructure this will be a comparatively cheap and quick start up mine. Just 3% is $3 billion, just for Cascabel, which would buy a huge number of drills and manpower to make progress on the other 75+ properties. A bit of competition for the whole of Solg might see $5 billion for the whole thing. It would probably be the best deal any miner ever made. | lefrene
16/12/2017 14:45 | NM video presentation published 14th December. hxxps://youtu.be/VJu Very positive and might explain strength in share price last few days | onedayrodders
15/12/2017 17:27 | Yes, not out of the woods yet ODR. | lefrene
15/12/2017 16:54 | another decent day .. of course need to get above 30p to get out of downtrend. MRE must be next week. | onedayrodders
14/12/2017 16:36 | Been a while since SOLG was the star of my portfolio | onedayrodders
14/12/2017 15:54 | another good move up today and better as the day goes on 27.50 offer | cielos
14/12/2017 12:03 | Looks like it's just pinged off the upper trend line. I'm guessing that the movers and shakers will be off for a couple of weeks from tomorrow, so that MRE will have fewer faces glued to screens if it comes out next week. Having 'previous' of missing two other timed promises, I suspect that the 'day late-dollar short' modus operandi will pertain. | lefrene

13/12/2017 17:46 | Thank you, but I don't see the downtrend behind us until we get above 30p, and then we need 42p to break out. To my chagrin I've just seen the thing I sold to buy my latest 100k of these, go up by £4k! | lefrene
13/12/2017 17:07 | From the "UPS" thread a bit earlier ........ SOLG 25.75p Breaking up from the Symmetrical Triangle, but still very tight at the moment till the day is over and holding at this price or higher. example chart ... | master rsi

13/12/2017 12:21 | yes. Looks like the MM's are marching them up to lure in punters? Usual pulling the rug circa 3pm? | lefrene
13/12/2017 12:19 | Does a purchase of SOLG shares now attract stamp duty? | macs
13/12/2017 10:46 | jovi1, If someone bid for it, the staff don't all leave and, the cash in hand doesn't leave either. The buyer gets one project that is about a year away from a possible start of mine construction (Alapala), and another possible quick start with Aguinaga. The buyer also gets those expertly chosen tenements 70+ of them, in which there is a high probability of finding other Cascabel size sites. The people making those sort of 'buy or not to buy' decisions will all be employees in major mining companies so they are going to be cautious, although a maverick Chinese buyer might just come along? The MRE when it appears (I think it will be late) might be enough to nudge potential predators into making a play. As always time will tell. | lefrene
13/12/2017 08:58 | BHP have already shown an interest. For them to do so at such an early stage says it all IMO. This is one to buy and hold for the mid to long term. NM is no fool & he won't be letting this go for a song. | everhopefull3
13/12/2017 01:20 | the reasons why we will not get a 50p offer I think are: MW are happier to provide cash for extra shares as the cash is spend in that project and not in dividend or in any case given to shareholder. if they buy at 50p they will have to spend a lot more cash to continue the work, this can change if another party shows interest in any cash BOD would not accept 50p anyway this required some time to come good but hopefully it will soon especially if the grade start to improve in the new area and or become closer to the surface good luck | jovi1
12/12/2017 14:55 | I think the market recognises that there is a lot of copper there, and that it is in not too difficult a place to begin extraction, however you can have all the copper in the world but it ain't worth much until you can sell it. Either by doing a deal with somebody else who has the clout to dig it up, or raising cash to do it yourself. Solg is sat on so much copper that there must be interested parties wanting to talk, or at current valuations just walk in and buy the whole thing for 50p a share! Your own volume supply of copper for the next 200 years might be an attractive proposition to the big players. | lefrene
12/12/2017 13:27 | Sorry but it looks like the share price is going lower | cool hand kev |
