Also makes him that very rare thing on AiM, a CEO with meaningful skin in the game.
I think NM was already doing very nicely before SOLG, so rich that in fact I think Solg is as much about professional pride as anything else. NM will likely go down as the most successful prospector of all time.

Nicholas Mather holding 89,268,275 5.91% x 38p makes him a very rich man

Originally floated @ 50p. There's been an unbelievable transformation since then.
Mind boggling in fact . Original projects have now been put on back burner.
Potential is now Cascabel. Lets hope we will leave all this jiggery pockery
behind us when we move to main market.

I don't think Aim will ever be cleaned up, I.e people jailed and massive fines.
The back lash to the city and lose of confidence would be to much.
The answer is to do the same as many and stay out of it.

Indeed one would think that 41p would be the floor, but this is AiM and very likely there are players to be accommodated before the new market listings. I expect there are still quite a few who bought this at the IPO and still waiting to see their 50p back.

As far as I know the 15 billion tons of potential ore have not evaporated, and new and ever deeper holes are being drilled around the clock. Plus a whole new set of sites have been leased just in case Cascabel doesn't make NM rich enough :¬)

If the cap fits . Would be nice to see some stability to share price.
You would think with placing @ 41p that would be the bottom.
My guess is we might know exactly whats going on by Friday.

Surely you're not implying that AiM isn't anything but squeaky clean? :¬) Those poor sods who got done for tweaking Libor, are but innocents compared to the gamesmanship of AiM. Perhaps being on TSX will be an end to the games, and this is their last hurrah?

No, the problem has persisted today, only 'AT' trades are logged. I wonder how copper 'bulls' are feeling these days, the much repeated assurance that there will be a copper squeeze seems never to happen, although we seem to hold circa $2.50lb steadily.

Are we seeing the share price being 'managed' to provide a lift for when we join the TSX and LSE? One would think that if Newcrest were happy to pay 41p, then that would be the floor? Evidently not, or at least, not on AiM.

Lefrene, you did well to spot the issue, its because I was looking at a stock moving with no trades at all that I figured it out. Log on the the London Stock Exchange website and look up a stock and the message is in a banner statement flagged 'New'. Its still there today. I just don't think there is any live streaming of 'O' trades or 'NT' trades either.

Noccer, you know more than I do. I was expecting a bit more price action today and looked at the 'Trades' tab here on advfn, I noticed they were all tagged 'AT', no 'O' trades at all, which seemed odd. However I didn't know about the LSE problem.

I hope Mr Caldwell has left because he no longer wishes to be an 'insider' and thus can load up on Solg :¬)

Lefrene, regards 'AT' trades is this because of the data stream failure on the LSE. They say "For technical reasons related to a third party data vendor, all trades which are off order book will not be included in the summary statistics, last 5 trades or Prices and Trade tab until further notice.
For further information please contact us on lse-website@lseg.com"

Damned nuisance, one stock I hold raced up over 25% apparently on no trades at all !!

Fri 16 June 2017-Newcrest invests a further US$40m to take their stake in Solgold to 14.54%.

Mon 19 June 2017- Mr Scott Caldwell has resigned from the Solgold board. At the time of his appointment, it was stated he was a mining engineer - "his experience at the giant Grasberg project in Indonesia for Freeport is most r e l e v a n t.... and his track record in the industry will provide a valuable c o n t r i b u t i o n to the continued ADVANCEMENT of the Cascabel project." Mr Caldwell is President & CEO of Guyana Gold. [Solgold RNS 9 Sep 2016]

<>Mon 19 June 2017- Shares in Cornerstone Resources have been "halted" pending news.
Please check.

My comment:

It appears Mr Caldwell may not be needed after all?

Awaiting further news. <>Seems to have a lot of corporate action<>

Strange to have announcement today of resignation by director.
Did he jump or was he pushed.

I notice it's all 'AT' trades, one algorithm playing off against another. Probably going to be a long slow summer, but Newcrest did well out of their first investment at 12p, so a similar performance from 41p should see the share price well clear of 100p before too long :¬) H'mmm £1.5 billion for 15 billion tons of ore with a gross value circa £130 billion? It will be good to eventually see a resource statement and an estimate for extraction costs. Newcrest must have run their slide rule over the likely rewards or they would not have committed so much money already.

Presumably there will be another exploration update before the TSX listing. With 15 billion tons of ore and possibly more soon to be found, I think it's a case of sitting by the pool with a long cool drink. I find it odd that anyone would now want to sell SOLG, unless desperate for dosh to plug holes elsewhere.

Anyone care to guess @ price tomorrow ?
Might it rebound to 45p?
Think TSX listing is only days away.
Giving Newcrest instant profit.
