04/10/2019 07:03 | That is a dreadful chart! We must all be crazy for having faith in SIA turning things around. Seems we are "contrarian" at the moment. | lauders
04/10/2019 06:59 | Well I for one had a crazy rush of blood to the head yesterday afternoon and bought back in at 58'ish. Hadn't really expected to see anything starting with a 5 but I suppose that's just where we are. It would be nice to think it was onward and upwards from here but given world volatility, who knows? Good fortune holders. | cwa1

03/10/2019 13:55 | Wow. Didn't expect to see the 50s so soon. At least you were expecting it! | tiswas
03/10/2019 13:45 | 57 handle on Brent and uncertainly in all major markets....not a great background for anything at present. Thats all.... | emptyend

03/10/2019 13:33 | Well I just bought a few and the price started with a "5" much to my amazement! | tiswas
03/10/2019 10:35 | That was my thinking too. It has moved up from this level each time. Fingers crossed we do the same again. | soultrading
03/10/2019 10:22 | It is reaching a point on the chart where it has bounced on at least four occasions before so probably "safe" to buy here (cough, cough) soultrading. I wish you luck. Given patience it should be a good buy point. Can't see this continuing at this level for much longer. The BOD have to do something and even though I am well down I still believe that things will get better. I have been wrong for years though! Don't listen to what I have to say! | lauders
03/10/2019 10:18 | Soco International's interim results were positive with revenue for the first half of the year above guidance, Peel Hunt analysts say. More importantly, Peel Hunt says the company's first-half production was solid, with full-year guidance unchanged. The brokerage says Soco International is also delivering on its work program and that, as it does so, its faith in the stock continues to solidify. Peel Hunt leaves its buy recommendation and 120-pence share target price unchanged. | soultrading
03/10/2019 10:18 | I have started to buy some more could not resist. | soultrading
03/10/2019 09:57 | Thinking the same but would like to see the market change | knowing

30/9/2019 09:15 | Interesting chart near the end of this 30 secs piece from Platts:http://plts.c | emptyend
29/9/2019 01:41 | Also interesting to see the potential of Israel. This piece shows a platform that is currently being installed in the Leviathan Field (Ratio Oil who are one of SIA's partners are a partner in this field) off Israel: The potential seems good as the other piece below proves, but it may be a while before any potential discovery impacts SIA's bottom line or the share price! Map is also interesting when compared with the one I shared a few weeks ago: Wish this map was clearer but looks interesting too: | lauders
29/9/2019 00:57 | Please just filter such posters. Makes life so much simpler not having to hear from them or see non-specific SIA posts in return! Missed this piece on SIA's results: Nothing new but a reminder that the 3rd rig will start work in October and perhaps we will hear some news on this in advance of the CMD? Probably not, but if they want to up the PR/IR would not be a bad idea. For the rest of the year, the two drilling rigs will continue work on new production and injection wells, with the aim of increasing production. A third workover rig will be brought in during October. Soco also said it was planning on shooting new 3D seismic in the north of the concession – although this is contingent on approval from the military and clearance of unexploded ordinance. Just calculated by position re: "return on my investment in SIA inc. dividends". Still well into the negative with an average of 374p. Still a long way to go till breakeven, let alone a profit! | lauders
