Now moving into social housing with Mears Group, one of the UK's largest providers!

Excellent news indeed.

The Company notes the media coverage regarding the Ealing Council tender for modular accommodation. Snoozebox can confirm that, in partnership with the Mears Group plc, it has been selected to provide turnkey modular serviced accommodation in response to Ealing Council's requirement for an interim and immediate social housing solution. A further, more detailed announcement will be made in due course.

That Aberdeen planning consent is significant.....

80 rooms increases ZZZ's permanent room stock by nearly 25%

Revenues from those 80 rooms, over the 5 year term, could be in excess £12m based on 75% occupancy and £100 a night (ZZZ average £117)

No wonder the overhang cleared, looks like 1m shares have been purchased by some entity completely clearing the overhang.

The shares looks seriously oversold.

Yes nice find. Not insider trading because the date is the 2nd so a couple of
people have spotted it and got the size because there was a overhang before today but that has been took out with the 3 large buys today.

Oil services firm Archer to shed 400 posts

Oil and gas industry in 'bleak' 2014

Oilfield services company Archer has confirmed it is losing more than 400 jobs from its UK operations, many of which are based in Aberdeen.

The company said 135 posts had already been lost from its north east operations.

A further 290 UK onshore and offshore jobs will go in the next few months.

Archer announced on Monday it had decided to cut 1,000 posts globally, following a "reduction in activity and the demand for our services".

The Bermuda-based company specialises in drilling and well intervention services.

The move comes as Oil & Gas UK reported the sector's worst annual performance for four decades.

The industry body said falling oil prices and rising costs meant the sector spent and invested £5.3bn more than it earned from sales during 2014.

Oil & Gas UK said the "bleak" findings emphasised the urgency of government action to secure the industry's long-term future.

'Reduction in activity'

In announcing its preliminary 2014 results, Archer said it had seen many of its customers "significantly reduce their investments and expenditures" at the end of the year and the beginning of 2015, driven by the sharp decline in the price of oil.

It reported a reduction in activity in the US onshore market and the North Sea, where several of its customers decided to cancel or delay projects or to stop drilling operations and idle platforms.

The statement added: "As a consequence of the reduction in activity and the demand for our services, the company has decided to reduce employee headcount by approximately 1,000 positions, or 11% of its total workforce.

"The company continues to review its compensation, bonus and benefits plans in order to bring them in line with the current economic climate.

"We are also working with our suppliers and subcontractors to reduce our cost base to maintain a base level of profitability and generate positive cash flow."

Snoozebox predicts profit for 2016
Written by: James Stagg, Wednesday, February 11th 2015, 16:34

Snoozebox Holdings is expecting to show a profit in 2016 having launched a new generation of rooms and opened two permanent sites.

The portable accommodation provider said in a trading update that it expected to post an EBITDA loss for 2015, despite a turnaround on trading performance in the business.

It said that revenues were expected to be £2.8m for 2014, with 24,000 room nights sold with average revenues per room of £117.

The opening of a 54-bedroom hotel at the Eden Project in Cornwall and the deployment of an 80-bedroom workforce hotel for Premier Oil are projected to cover the central costs of the business in 2015, Snoozebox said.

It added that this security would allow it to position for scale in 2016, including expansion into Europe.

“The decision to accelerate entry into Europe will result in a short-term impact on revenues, which it is anticipated will lead to a small EBITDA loss for the company in 2015. However, this approach positions the company for growth and profitability in 2016 and beyond,” the statement read.

Snoozebox said it expected to deploy hotels at 50% more events in the UK than last year. It will provide accommodation at events including Cheltenham Festival, Isle of Man TT Races, British F1 Grand Prix and the Rugby World Cup.

With the additional resources afforded by the £15m debt facility it secured in 2014, the firm plans to release a small number of rooms to establish itself on the European events circuit, before scaling up its presence in 2016.

NORTHLAND CAPITAL PARTNERS VIEW:

We previously alluded to FY14 stacking up as a turnaround year for Snoozebox and that forward bookings for FY15 looked healthy. Today’s announcement that the business will enter Europe earlier should be seen as a positive in our view though investors will have to wait slightly longer for profitability as consensus had profits for FY15 at EBITDA level.

The business had £17m of cash on the balance sheet as at the end of FY14, which is higher than its current market capitalisation at £15.6m and has further access to a £5m drawdown facility with which to grow the business in FY15 and beyond.

By the end of the day MCAP is now 14.8M - well below cash.

Understable why it's dropping, although they say revenue will be up from previous but European expansion may take toll on the ebitda. How much toll is the question?

Just hire a helicopter, get dropped off in the middle of the action.

If there were a few of you, you could probably charter a helicopter and come and go as you please depending on what bands you like and hire a private farmhouse nearby for good measure!

Since Jan 2014 it appears that the safest way to make money is to take P Scott's share picks

and short 'em !

Snoozebox
Porta Comms
Flybe
and numerous others

Seems like almost everyone is a loser/(winner !)
(except for Pilat Media which was a good pick.....but some of us had spotted that yrs before, unfairly disliked by the mkt)

(and recently ENTU.....gotta be joking imo !....might go up but its all risk and tiny reward....and 8p divi is a dirs. scam imo (pump and dir. dump)...see if I am right)
-----

Snoozebox
not very attractive imo.....
taken on debt.....so risk becomes much higher...
After the costs of taking cabins to events, setting them up, and then taking them down and to next event.....remains to be seen whether it is profitable.....and if it is....then barries to entry seem to be close to zero. For Europe, Rumanians for example could 'make and move' at half the price.
And effectively ZZZ puts shareholder money into the cabins. What is their real lifetime ? Cost to refurbish them every X years ?. Depreciation. Future rust problems of steel in damp UK. And in UK , never be much demand in winter imo. Grand Prix, music events, all in the short UK summer.
