02/1/2015 13:48 | From TU in Nov 14 The Company is pleased to announce a positive and improved trading performance so far in the second half of the year and consequently expects results for the full year to be comfortably in line with forecast. This improvement has been achieved through a combination of higher pricing and further cost efficiencies in the events business. Year-on-year, all loss making events in 2013 have been turned around and have delivered a positive contribution to overheads in this trading period. | cottoner
02/1/2015 11:43 | They must be making profits on using the old stock otherwise they might as well get rid of it all. | yesrupnel
31/12/2014 13:28 | These long term situations were of use to utilise old stock, I suspect the best profits are from new stock at prime event locations, thus any effect from lower usage of the old stock is likely to be minimal or nil. | lefrene
31/12/2014 11:58 | Sure - but every contract win is more profits. If the oil industry goes through a period - be that a few months for a bit longer -then they need less staff or just manage on those they have. That in turns dampens the demand for additional accomodation which in turn affects the size of the market that ZZZ operates in. That is not just North Sea but is elsewhere in the UK and Europe. I am not saying that this will have a huge affect on ZZZ but I am saying that their potential sales will probably be affected in the short term and by the nature of their business much of what they offer is to the short term market requirement for accomodation. | yesrupnel
31/12/2014 11:12 | We are talking one tiny area of the business. If the oil companies do not need them the rest of Europe will want them for some sporting event or Corporate event so I'm not worried in the slightest. | 21trader
31/12/2014 11:09 | A lot of fracking outfits are already dropping out as they lose money below $80, it will be a classic law of economics cycle. Demand likely to increase in the summer as America stocks up with heating oil, so I'm guessing cheap oil won't be around for too long. As for ZZZ and Premier Oil, it's all down to whatever they have in the contract, but at least the whole thing can be trucked to another location for another industrial user, perhaps at Premier Oils expense if they find they no longer need the accommodation? | lefrene
31/12/2014 08:57 | History suggests the oil price will recover too many powerful countries can do things to sort that out easily. | 21trader
31/12/2014 08:49 | Big article in FT saying that North Sea companies are cutting salaries of workers by 10-15% now and that job losses could be next if oil prices continue to fall or stay low. This could cut demand for temp accomodation for ZZZ | yesrupnel
30/12/2014 11:39 | cottoner - an excellent post - IMHO, and worthy of entry for the list. I am hoping we will hear shortly on the planning consent for the Aberdeen hotel and possibly some further contract news. Patience, patience, patience.... | bill182
30/12/2014 11:11 | Was a excellent post cottoner. Nobody listening and buying from the doubler cr thread but take note PEG was friendless too and soon as it started moving up lurkers piled in and I'm sure the same will happen here once it goes up whenever that maybe. | 21trader
23/12/2014 11:50 | No stock available on-line currently. Still selling below net asset value of 11p from June accounts. Only around 70m shares in free float. Ever improving trading position Cash as of 30th June £8m Unused credit facility of £15m available Broker target 18p Moved from 8p to 18p in March Materially undervalued IMO | observer007
23/12/2014 11:43 | 21t, 9p really? was thinking 16-20p | paul the octopus
23/12/2014 11:41 | hmm, wondering when this will blow off upwards...probably will check it back when it is close to 20p soonish | paul the octopus
22/12/2014 14:59 | Well, our seller seems to have disappeared for the time being and we are on the move back up on very limited buying. imagine what will happen when the company release the next news /contract win update. | bill182
22/12/2014 14:54 | Still recovering should get back to 9p bid | 21trader
22/12/2014 14:42 | No stock available on-line now, the illiquid nature of the shares, which can drive the price quickly, is starting to reflect again now the warrants have expired. | observer007
22/12/2014 12:52 | A few buyers nibbling away at these lower levels. So little stock in free float. It will not take much to move the price disproportionally. | observer007
22/12/2014 08:40 | some patience needed that is all ! gla m | maurillac
19/12/2014 15:56 | bill182 If one looks at the 12 month chart the shares spiked to 17p in April almost in a straight line. Since then operational performance has exceeded expectations and the media have given ZZZ wide positive coverage. The chart also clearly demonstrates how the warrants held the share price below 10p (their excise price) These warrants have now expired. All it will take is very modest buying demand to move the share price disproportionally simply because the free float is so low, the tradeable float is only about 70m shares. Net asset value is 11p per share according to the June accounts. The trading business is currently valued at ZERO. This cannot last. The recent broker note offers a target of 18p but I believe this is too conservative. Retail investors are happy to chase glamour stocks but when true value is staring them in the face most cannot see it!! | observer007
19/12/2014 15:06 | Observer007 - I know they were 60p 18 months ago, I was one of the mugs who bought some. However, I did not buy many at that price but have bought substantially more at much lower prices as I believe in the model. It is very frustrating to see the share price languish where it is, but our time will come, we just need the catalyst. The company must have won some new contracts given the positive press for the new V" units and maybe the next contract win RNS will give the share the impetus it needs. | bill182 |
