Goldman Sachs has just upgraded Smurfit Kappa to a buy today - target price 27.50 stg

Mondi and DSS are held at neutral by Goldman Sachs.


This should put some momentum behind the share this week - finishing above 24.50 hopefully

I expect this now to surpass 24 due to the weakness of sterling. at 24 stg it is only 26 euro where as in the past it was at 27.7 euro

I can see this getting back to 27 euro which would now be 25 stg

Very strange volumes for the middle of August.

I view this positively if the share price is not collapsing - looks like some large holders are clearing positions while others are accumulating. This would explain the walk down in price since results on 2nd August and once the overhang is cleared then a bounce back quickly to above 2450 to the shares..

Average daily vol 550k over 1 yr and 26 and 12 weeks

Average daily vol 650k over 4 weeks

Average daily vol 880k over 1 week

550k traded already on a Friday in August...........
